Gabbert has absolutely zero poise in the pocket. If he even as much gets a stare from any of the Ravens front, he flinches. He has to grow a pair or he won't last long in this league. He's got to stand tall and throw with the knowledge he'll get hit.

crowd is actually loud tonight which is impressive
a) jax barely can fill a stadium
b) the team is 1-5

I hate teams like the Ravens and Jets that can play so horrible against truly awful teams, but always seem to go toe-to-toe with the Patriots.

you're 100% correct

This week's primetime lineup might be the worst in NFL history.

Because in their mind the Pats are the SB champs and the measuring stick even though they haven't won in 7 years..

The Raven's offense is not good, but this Jags defence i think is legit.

I know this will jinx it, and Gabbert will toss a pick-6 or something, but damn if the Jaguars don't have a real shot at winning this game.

Credit the Jags secondary. They're not allowing any separation on the receivers.

Ouch...first actual drive of the game, and they come away with no points and leave Jax in pretty good field position. Baltimore doesn't have much longer to wake up.

LOL, just thinking the same thing as I looked at Ray Lewis's eyes as he was putting his helmet on...still smell an upset though

I was just thinking, the Jags are fine if they just don't turn the ball over

I know the look like crap, but the Ravens lay eggs. If the Jags can hold on, this could be the difference in homefield down the road. Comeon jags!

Unless the field position really flips, or the Ravens get 2 scores, I can't think of any reason for the Jaguars to throw the ball again this game.

jags aren't an awful team......

they lost to the titans by 2
they lost to the saints by 13
they lost to cincy by 10
they lost at pitt, by only 4
they lost at carolina by only 6

the only time they looked truely bad this year was vs the jets

if the jags had a more seasoned qb, and a better pass blocking oline, they'd be a lot better

these rookie QB's are unreal: Gabbert, Dalton, Newton, Ponder

the way in which they are outplaying vets like: Painter, Collins, McNabb, McCown, Moore, Palmer, Boller, Whitehurst, Kolb, Flacco

is absolutely mind-boggling

Not to diminish what some (i.e. Newton) are doing, but the fact that there are some rookie QBs who are outplaying that absolute veteran suckfest you outlined isn't that surprising.

I think anyone with a pulse would have a decent shot at playing better than half those players.
