I like that you think houses still cost $1k. Frickin' boomers.

My "house" didn't cost me anything...that's because...

If Patterson doesn’t stumble over his own **** all the space created by Edelman, Gronk and Gordon would be just what he needs.

Thanks. You made me spit up reading that.

I had to work today so I watched a decent amount on my phone, how was the GDT? Did the usual All-Stars reach to find things to be worried and concerned about?
Because they got off to a fast start and dominated, the chicken littles, pink hats and trolls sat in the fetal position in their safe space today

mildly interesting note:

After just 4 weeks, there is only one winless team (Arizona), and there will be no more than 2 undefeated teams, max (L.A., K.C.).

It was a really bad call. First, do no harm. Giving the opponent the ball with time and only a few yards to FG range was very harmful to chances of winning. As subsequent events showed.
Only a few yards but 24 seconds and no timeouts. Mehhh. Play for the win.

If I had the time, I'd read the thread, I'm sure it would be pure entertainment...

Anyone know how many carries for Sony in the first half vs second half?

The number of goddamn squirrels this year is ridiculous.
Not sure if it’s just me, but it feels like the amount of roadkill has been absurd. Came back to Belmont today after a weekend in Vermont, and 89 and 93 was loaded with dead squirrels, chipmunks, a few raccoons, you name it. Same deal about 3 weekends ago.

Anyways, back on topic, look forward to Edelman and hope he dodges cars from the get go.

It's crazy. Fairly mild winter last year is the reason.

I don't want to be a party pooper but this game didn't ease my concerns whatsoever. I already liked what Sony did with minimal blocking and could tell it would get better. We don't know if Sony's hands got better since we simply didn't throw to him. The problems like Hogan and Patterson not getting open without a pick etc still exists.

I will give the defense props but I always thought they would fix it eventually. I don't like our chances in a potential shootout against someone like KC until Hogan, Patterson, and Allen show some consistent contributions.

Gordon looking better than advertised and Edelman coming back can go a long way in easing my concerns though.

I'm sure you have more important things to do...like wash dishes

Meh, I am concerned about a few things but what our 4th and 5th WR do really isnt one of them. With JE/JG/CH as your top 3 and Gronk as a primary along with White, Dorsett is a 5th to 6th option. Plus Dorsett has already shown he can be an excellent 4th option or even a ok 3rd if he has to be. Patterson is just a luxury.

Not sure why you are worried about what a 4th/5th WR or even 6th receiving target is going to do in this system. When have these players ever really made a difference unless there are injuries to the top WRs? You are really reaching for something to worry about.

Be more worried about what the primary players are going to do (and that they stay healthy) rather than the backups. You are worrying about a player who may be inactive.

I said similar in the game day thread. Weird how he’s gone from a potential CB2 when the teams traded for him to a potential safety convert & now back to CB2. Looks good.

I never really thought he was a “safety conversion”, I just looked at that as experimentation for depth purposes. As in, “can he play safety well enough that we can trade Jordan Richards?” I doubt they were planning to use him much at safety unless the **** hit the fan or as part of a rotation if the young CBs really started to develop (which may yet happen.)
