Dorsett was better, they finally had a good looking deep ball but he dropped it. Still its getting there. Another nice open field move today. Like him as a 5th option, passable as a 4th if Gordon doesn’t pan out.
It's definitely Dorsett's fault he didn't catch it, but it wasn't really a drop.

If you watch the slomo replay closely you'll see that he doesn't catch it cleanly and bobbles it. In mid-bobble the DB alertly punches it away.

If the DB was further away Dorsett probably would have hauled it in. It wasn't like it clanged off his hands.

However, he should have caught it cleanly and not bobbled it in the first place.

It was a really bad call. First, do no harm. Giving the opponent the ball with time and only a few yards to FG range was very harmful to chances of winning. As subsequent events showed.
Plus I thought Houston had 1 timeout.

They were two really bad decisions by Brady

The first one, yes, the second was a really good play by the DB. Dorsett broke into a space that would ordinarily have been vacated by a clear out route, but the DB read the play and dropped off Patterson (?) in perfect time to make the pick.

We made it through 2-2 and Julian had 4 more weeks of convalescing. I'd say that glass is more than half full

It should help, as there will be just two receivers he'll trust enough to force feed: Jules and Gronk.

You don't think Brady trusts Hogan and White enough to force the ball to them??

He’s saying their going to mesh so the rest of the NFL had better be scared.

I meant the 'journalistic integrity' comment. Especially given that Chatham isn't a journalist.

Has it ever been "mathematically too late?" Brady missed playoffs in 2002 but lost out on tiebreaker but I don't think he was ever played a game where he wasn't in contention for playoffs or Super Bowl...
And as for mathematically too late during the game. I think the number of games where Brady has lost by more than a touchdown is.....(26/293-- 22 regular season, 4 post season)

Brady still has never played an NFL game where his team was eliminated before game time.

Marsh had a couple of good games last year

I beg to differ. Marsh had a couple decent plays, but he was otherwise terrible. Couldn't even figure out how to rush without being 10 yards behind the QB, and that's supposed to be the one thing he did alright.

arguably the first was just a good defensive play, but he usually throws it so it's only catch-able by his receiver

There quite literally was no way to throw that pass where it was only catchable by the receiver. Brady just got baited on that play.

I had to work today so I watched a decent amount on my phone, how was the GDT? Did the usual All-Stars reach to find things to be worried and concerned about?
