The speculation I saw is that it was specific to Jake Bailey from their time working with him.Wasn't the play based on something the coaches noticed about how Mia lines up vs. a play that could be used against any opponent?
This is awesome. What was his read key on this play? While I stand on the clear proof that Mac has looked a lot better this year. He's still falling into one bad habit from last year.
When there's a double route, with a short and deep, he almost always takes the short. This is a great shot of the out route to Henry.
Yes, he completed it. But, right behind that, Parker is going to break wide open on the post-crosser.
When is he going to start hitting these, instead of only trying 30yd corner fades, or 40yd post routes when Bourne is doubled...
Just an observation.
Agreed. 29TH overall; un****ingbelievable.Cole Strange had best get his head out of his arse. That was an unacceptable performance against the Dolphins.
Platooning them didn't seem to work-out too badly... Expect more of the same. And Onwenu probably still had to platoon with Mafi. Guy is massively overweight.
As of now I prefer to keep Brownblob at LT and try Lowe at RT; he's gotta be better than Mister Anderson, who still looks Way too weak for the Right side.Trent Brown comes back. Why not put him where he belongs and keep promising Lowe at LT.
I think we all need to lower our expectations for Barmore, who just doesn't look and play like he's anything special; no different than Ukulele, or Dom Easily, or Adam Butler, or...Gonna be big boy football. Quinnen Williams has the ability to move people. Maybe our own Barmore will wake up and be the impact player we’re hoping for.
Yeah watching both Bentley & Jalopy on the field at the same time was ****ing brutal. This is the perfect old-school game for our slow thumpers, Bentley and Tavai, the guys who couldn’t keep up with Miami’s speed.
We SHOULD murder this team. Their defense is excellent, but they’re led by a turnover machine on offense. But it’s a division game and we tend to stay primarily in a zone shell when we play mobile QBs which can sometimes give them easy completions. In all, we have no excuse not to win this game. If we lose this one, it’s because we beat ourselves. I’d also imagine this would be the beginning of Bill’s seat heating up if that happens.
Yes, bench him now so he doesn't fumble in a playoff game.
BOB said today that Pop’s lack of snaps had more to do with them being in no-huddle a lot and the types of packages they were running, and Pop’s relative lack of knowledge of the full playbook, as opposed to a benching. Makes some sense. He’s a rookie and also coming from a lower level of competition in college (Liberty). May take time to get up to speed on the whole playbook.
Had a misunderstanding of his snaps, thought he had a few on offense after the fumble but only a couple. Was wrong. And you bought that?
The only WR you really need to worry about on the Jete is Garrett Wilson - they may stick Gonzo on him and focus on stopping Breece. If it storms during the game then that diminishes the passing game significantly. Hopefully NE can get their own running game going at least a little.Storm's comin'.
The storm projection has slowed down considerably. It now looks like it will still be in the mid-Atlantic region for gametime, and not yet hit northern NJ.Storm's comin'.
