The Pats game plan seems to be run the ball, throw as little as possible, expect the defense to keep the score low. That's only going to work so long with Brissett. Especially if we go down a couple scores early in a game.

I think after a few losses, we'll see Maye in there this season.
Correction Drake the starter next season I meant. Agreed there. Eventually the offense is going to have to be more balanced.. the premise is running the ball. Not sure if I showed you. But I've mentioned the formula the 2017 jags used is effective in the modern NFL. Blake Bortles had 26 TDs!

Yeah, that key to success only works if we can continue to run the ball well against stacked defenses and if our defense keeps the other team off the board. We'll see. It could work or it could not.

That takes a commitment and that's what the AVP offense is based off.. even when teams stack it.. still getting 3,4 yards on first down and getting 6, to 7 on 2nd down.. of course you want to stay out of long yardage situations.. running the ball demoralizes the opposing offense.. it consumers the clock and limits the others teams offensive opportunities. Rham and Gibson will compliment each other well.. I like how AVP let's rham rest in the 2nd quarter..

And in the other one in 2012 (the "U Mad Bro" game) we allowed 2 TD in the last 7:30 of the game to lose by 1. Another close game. I expect this one will be no different.

Mayo owes us for helping us lose that game.

I watched the Denver-Seattle game. He didn’t look bad yesterday for an old guy. He was the receiver on Malcom’s SB pick.

Yes I remember I think that was his rookie season no?

Wrong Lockette…

So we aren't talking about Tyler Lockett?

Brisett has never faced Seattle. Not that it really matters since teams change overnight.

I have a feeling that Seattle will do a better job vs the NE run. The Seattle DC is in his first season as DC. Dude is from England Aden Durde Record, Statistics, and Category Ranks | Pro-Football-Reference.com
That Cincy front was no slouch.. I expect a rinse, and repeat. The whole premise of committing to running is even when your getting 2 yards.. it's about wearing down the defensive line.

It is all about Geno Smith. The Pats must know him well from his NYJ days. Guys do not change that much. Weaknesses will be the same.

Agree. He had resurgence in Seattle. I'm not sure he's 100% healthy. He is a mobile QB though...so we will need to spy him with Hawkins.. who I'm really liking as a player.

Well seen as how chuks got benched for Robinson I'd think Robinson would start? I think he's good great playing strength. As u perfectly said if the tackles continue to give up pressure then we can never get to our deep stuff. We know Tyquan will be open. That's why I keep saying polk should be starting his skill set is better when Jacoby has to get the ball out quickly.. I can see more screens this game as well if AVP wants to spread them out. But on defense as we agreed make gino have to go to his 3rd and 4th read. Hopefully we can pick some off.

Not sure how reputable this guy is but he projects the same ol for week 2 as in week 1 once lowe stepped in for chuks. Excited to see if layden can clean things up! Unfortunately according to him sow was absent again today. But Jordan seems to have done ok

Brady reverted to his early days where he threw an deep redzone pick allowing the team back into the game. Had the Pats scored a TD, that game would've been out of reach for the Seahawks.
