That said, they did their job in the postseason. 21 points to the Giants is acceptable. What isn't acceptable is the offense going 2.5 quarters or whatever it was without scoring. If I had to rank TB's SB performances, this might be last. He was decent to good. But not good enough.

It took an all time great throw and catch to get the Giants in range to win the game.
We had a decoy in Gronk.. with that ankle had gronk been himself we win convincingly.. once that 50 yard pass was completed in the 4th quarter to manningham I knew the game was over... we had them backed up on thier own end zone. TB was phenomenal all season we were blowing out teams.. the secondary led by CB sterling Moore just couldn't hold up.

If NE can hold Seattles running game in check and not let them pop off, I like their chances of winning I don’t think Geno can beat em with his arm even with all of the weapons he has.

If NE can push 17-20 points, I think they go 2-0.
I've said the same thing the formula for a defense.. is always stopping the run.. no matter who is at QB.. when u take away a teams run game the QB has to drop back more.. that increases the chances of INTs.

Wow! short turn around game we have the Jets the following Thursday night hate these cluster games. I guess we're preparing for two games now interesting to see how we do hope we don't get too banged up.

Equal blame then. You can't go 2.5 quarters and not score in a SB. But the D picked the worst possible time to break.

Smith isn't a great QB. I think the D should be able to hold Seattle in check. That said, what does Brissett do if the team is trailing and there is pressure on him to score? He didn't face that last Sunday. Eventually he will be in that position.

J.B. seems like a QB who can hold a lead and not make too many crucial errors. He is not a Tom Brady who can overcome 10 point deficits or more consistently. That's what made Brady great. He didn't change his approach up or behind in a game.

I think when Teams plan for us they are doing the same thing. That's' why I want Brissett to air it out some to keep the D honest.

Agreed... but we blew out Denver 52-10 in the divisional and beat Baltimore by a FG.. in the AFCCG.. I agree we should have scored more.. but the defense mainly the secondary got exposed.

That is what we want... when's the last time a DC said we have to stop NEs run game or anyone on offense to have to account for. More attempts to hit Tyquan and pop is going to have to be more involved. Those safeties will be up around the LOS so those shots will there..

Moore saved the Baltimore game with that pass break up.

But yeah..in retrospect you almost wish Manning threw a TD there. What killed the team was the Giants kept bleeding the clock.

Your absolutely right. We had them dead to rights backed up in the end zone.. that Eli passed deflated the defense.. Chung mis-timed his jump.. I just know the game was done then. Another SB loss to the giant's.. ughhh

On defense I believe gonzo on DK, J. Jones on lockett, Marcus on Smith- Njigba.. Hawkins can spy gino Smith because he's still mobile..

Same here. Hopefully we face the version of the Jets we saw against SF.. we owe them one they beat us in BB last game.. maybe the snow was in his eyes...

I want to see more Targets to Pop Douglas he's our Quickest WR to uncover 2 for 12yds is not going to cut it.

Marcus Jones is really good if can stay healthy I remember him covering Devante Adams against the Raiders and did very well. IF Gonzo or Marcus limit their Guys we have a fighters chance in any game.

I agree.. I think alot if it was the Bengals couldn't stop the run so they kept running it..

Yes! Marcus is scrappy and very heady as a DB.. I like him in the slot.. I think that's his best fit. Dk is a great match up for gonzo.. he needs to jamm the F out of him from the first snap.. and let him know no today. J. Jones can stay with lockett he can match his speed. We probably have the best combination of starting CBs in the league collectively.

I think they always prepare for two games, but I wonder how much they have to prepare for a division rival.

Keep an eye on kenneth walker’s practice status today. He missed yesterday with an oblique injury

I’d like to point out my dissatisfaction with this thread title, which unfortunately is all to be expected from a poster like @sb1 who exemplifies the modern day internet try hard troll.

This world does not need anymore ambiguously addressed content. You need only to glance your eye balls a few inches higher at the syndicated posts from NESN and others to find such examples. Just write Seattle Seahawks next time.

It’s best to start the season running it. Then let the offense evolve … and if and when we do make it ( cough cough) to the other season… control the clock
