hey doom-and-gloomer. taylor was contained that whole game until they had to stack the box to get the ball at the end and he was lucky Hightower over persued by a foot

Prob the 1st time I've been called anything close to a doom and gloomer as a sports fan. He had 170yds that game! We gave up 226 total rush yards. Take away the 67yd run and he still would've averaged 3.67ypc.

Thus far it seems as though the net result of adding another team to the playoffs is that the final weekend's games are taken about as seriously by coaches as the final preseason games. With nothing to play for (thanks to only one bye instead of two) more teams are resting starters - and with an additional game on the schedule fewer playoff spots are still up for grabs.

A lot of not so good football being played by backups.
