I’m reading a lot of “keep him but in a demoted role.” I would be OK with letting him focus on the QBs and not playcalling, personally.

The entire visitors side of the old stadium used to be filled with Bills fans in the 90's. Back when the Pats were terrible and the Bill's had their Super Bowl run. I guess we are back to that today?

Matt Patricia 2022: 21.4 PPG
Bill O'Brien 2023: 13.9 PPG
Alex Van Pelt 2024: 16.6 PPG (so far)

So no, but it's close.

Now imagine a universe in which the Matty P experiment would have happened with Maye instead of Jones. Like, if we'd somehow snagged Maye in '21.

The Patricia move could possibly have ended up being hailed as genius. BB would already have the all time wins record and adding on. And Bob would be basking in all the credit, possibly gotten his coveted yellow jacket already.
