Isn't that how it always goes though, until a few months before the draft and then these QBs become the hottest thing since ass-less chaps?

That happens sometimes, but not always. Usually there is at least one prospect worth taking high. And, as you point out, even when there's not really a guy worth grabbing, teams often talk themselves into reaching. But there are rare times when teams play it smarter than grabbing a QB in the top 5 (the E.J. Manuel and Jim Druckenmiller drafts come immediately to mind).

Edit: Doh! I forgot to toss in the Brady draft as an obvious example, where Pennington was the #1 QB taken, at 18.

His eyes were half-dt Wise back, and try Uche & Wino one last time to see what they can do, and give Perkins a shot.
I believe Perkins is moved onto IR. Not sure if he can play a game this season?

Rham is back. Only non-COVID player absent is Agholor.

the patriots need to come out strong. td's on the first two drives and a turn over by the defense.

I am surprised it is taking Agholor so long to get off the concussion protocol. First, he didn't really take a clean hit to the head, it was more of a glancing blow where the defender hit him in the chest first. Second, he actually seemed fine walking off the field and on the sidelines after it. It almost looked like the concussion test was more precautionary.

No problem...We have ready Harry for redemption...

Some playoff scenarios for us this weekend. After last year, the playoffs seemed unrealistic this year, but we're almost there:

This part just gave me this terrifying thought about Mac being put on the COVID list and Brian Hoyer is starting meaningful games for the Patriots in January.
Rookies aren't allowed to get Covid-19.

I missed you, Rham. If you feel like rushing for 120+ yards, please feel free to do so. We won’t stop you from having fun.
Mondre! MONDRE!! MONDRE!!!!

Memo to Josh McDaniels: No s%!t, Sherlock!"
Either Josh hasn’t been able to figure out how to use him through preseason and 15 games in the playoff hunt, or there isn’t a way. Each game without producing moves the needle further towards what you see is what you get.

Looked like he took a pretty good hit actually… Absolutely should’ve been an extra 15 yards.

I like James Lofton as an analyst… Way better than Romo or Talib... Don’t have a strong opinion on Catalon; and bubble-headed, casting-couch bimbos mean less than nothing to me.
I haven’t heard them at all, just noting that it’s a broadcasting crew we never get. If they’re new, hopefully they’re good and get promoted. Rather than being retreads like Don Crique and Randy Cross.

I agree with you 100% on the sideline reporters.
