I'm pregaming with vodka. Tequila will get into the game around kickoff.

Also, not surprised to see Floyd isn't playing. Most of the mediot discussion is centering on the inability of the OL last year to stop the pass rush. Cannon's play is probably going to surprise a few people...or so we hope.
As great as they have been, they were pretty bad on our last two road trips in pass protection in San Fran and Jersey. Can't have that today.

I find it interesting that Schefter is posting at 8:30 AM EST that Floyd is inactive. While most of us felt that would probably be the case, the Patriots certainly haven't turned in their sheets to Refs and I don't see the coaching staff telling Schefter a damn thing.

Yes let's just keep bringing up the AFCC in regards to the broncos DL vs Brady and let's ignore the regular season game where that DL was kept at bay for the most part. Stupid mediots.

It was a f*cking anomaly performance, aided by two injured OT, ****ty Josh Kline and a C tipping the snap and the broncos pass rushers being offside and it not getting called.

And the hilarious thing is even with that bad OL performance had Gostkowski made the XP or Belichick sends out the FG unit instead of going for it on 4th down Pats probably win that game.

And the RBs were James White, Brandon Bolden and the Ghost of Steven Jackson.

There is a reason why Brady had to throw 56 times and the Denver D didn't have to guess at all that game.

James White continues to morph in to Shane Vereen and some guys named Blount and Lewis are in da house. They should steamroll all day long. I'm looking for a 38-22 Time of Possession advantage.

The game will be a blowout OT if those guys are healthy? Quite the stretch. Game could go a number of different ways.

I need a translation. Anyone? Let's start with "blowout OT".......

I still feel like it'll be close. I mean we were in a tight game with the Jets a few weeks back. Think it'll come down to the very end and talent will win out.

Jets have a faaaaarrrr better run Defense.

Apples and oranges.

Perhaps Floyd's agent?

Uh, why are we rooting for the Titans over KC? KC helps us in any tiebreak over Oakland. The Patriots could lose today, win the next 2, and as long as KC wins, Patriots still get the #1 bye.

I assume because most people wanna see KC having issues with above average teams like the Titans to feel a bit better about a potential playoff meeting with KC.

Would you rather see KC stomping the Titans or having a close game ?

Feel a big day on the ground for the pats

Canadian Club - 12 year, stress ball, something of little value to be in pieces in after the game, and 1 Tylenol...

Postings from both Scheffer and Reiss about that were up last night. They're tweeting their educated guesses to fill dead air.

this may be met with scrutiny, but I don't get why everyone likes to get drunk for pats games. I look forward to this all week. I can get drunk whenever. I don't want to be freaking mentally impaired for my favorite 3 hours of the week. I'd miss out on a bunch of stuff and lose focus

Good point. Both CBs are questionable, and Rowe hasn't had a full practice in a couple of weeks. So the first indication will be whether they dress. I expect Denver will be heavily pass oriented, and will be looking for the big play. Our safeties will have to take that away, and the front 7 will handle the weak rushong game.
might we see the Jones boys getting significant time at CB? I'm hoping both Cyrus and Jon both get to play at the same time so the announcers can get even more totally confused than usual.

you think Belichick gave his agent a heads-up?

I think it is pretty likely that Floyd knew immediately after he was claimed what the short term plans for him were so the agent might be an option.

That being said I don't think the info is coming from Floyd's camp simply because this is not the first time Schefter got some info fed ahead most probably form someone inside the Pats organization. Also I am not sure it is in the agent's best interest to already start the leak game before his player had the first appearance in an amazing chance to rebuild his value.
