Arrgg!!! Rams suck...
Yup this is probably over
So what job does McVay take next year? Giants? Redskins?
American idol host? Is that still around?
McVay needs to lock Goff in a room with KG until he toughens up.
That seems dubious at this point.
The “if” part of that went without saying.
Wade Phillips = Lamarr Jackson's female dog
The Rams loss puts them 3 games out of the playoffs with 5 games to go. Unless there's a collapse in the NFC, the playoffs are set, except for the determination of Dallas v. Philly for the NFCE slot.
The AFC is more fluid, with really only two teams that should be considered locks for the playoffs, IMO.
Beyond that, I have the Chiefs with a chance to pretty much wrap up the AFCW by beating the Raiders this week. The AFCS has 3 teams with tough schedules down the stretch, including games against one another. The Bills have a schedule where all 5 of their remaining opponents could beat them, though the could also get to 11 wins even with losses against the two toughest opponents on their schedule. The Raiders could easily lose their next two games and be done, and the Browns still have a shot at the playoffs, due to their easy remaining schedule.
Career road records:
Tom Brady, 105-47
Aaron Rodgers, 47-48
This guy is the absolute definition of a front runner and wilts under adversity. How can you have that type of career passer rating/ratio but still have a losing record on the road? He is 70-19 at home for everyone who wants to point the to the coaching staff and defense. Of all the outlier stats about Rodgers, I think the home/road split is the most telling.
It so laughable that people actually consider this guy to be in the GOAT conversation. I no longer think he’s even all-decade second team. Wilson or Brees are much better leaders and more deserving.
I never said he sucks, so do not put words in my mouth. He is having a good year, but he has faced Arizona (32nd) x 2, Tampa (31th), Seattle (29th) and Green Bay (22nd) this season. Brady has not played against a pass defense in the bottom 10 all season. SF also has the second best rushing attack in the NFL behind only Baltimore, whereas we are 23rd overall and 30th in YPA. Comparing the 2 of them is not really apples to apples.
Rodgers and Brees are very overrated by 90% of fans. Hell, I would wager over half the fans I talk to have both in their top 5. It's ridiculous
Most peoples top 5 in no order
I always say HOW is it possible for 4 of the top 5 quarterbacks of all time to play in the same time period? Insane
The Buffalo Bills are a trap game for the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day due to Jerry Jones over-reacting to losing to the Patriots in Foxboro, and the Ravens play the Bills in Buffalo after hosting the 49ers. Neither of those teams is focused on the Bills.
A Bills win over the Ravens is quite possible. Some nasty weather in Buffalo and that disciplined defense and can set an edge to keep Jackson in the pocket. It's impressive to think back on how the Chargers manhandled the Ravens in the divisional round last year. The Bills could do that.
The Bills should just flat out beat the Steelers and the Jets. If the Bills get 11 wins or better, Sean McDermott should be coach of the year.
That Week 16 Bills at Patriots game looms as important as far as playoff match-ups go. It would be nice if the Patriots passing game is hitting on all cylinders at that point.
The Bills ain't beating that Ravens team. Jackson (right now) couldn't care less if he's in, out or between pockets.
I think I heard today that the Raiders are already eliminated.
They haven't been eliminated.
Probably not. I didn't hear it very well. Perhaps it was a 'if so and so wins/loses THIS weekend they'll be eliminated'
I think this is what you heard..
New England will clinch a playoff spot this week with:
Win over the Houston Texans, and
Raiders loss or tie to the Chiefs;
Win over the Houston Texans, and
Steelers loss or tie to the Browns
The Patriots Can Clinch a Playoff Spot This Week
Also at the link are scenarios where the Patriots can clinch at least the #5 seed.
In Bills we trust........hope
Another team ruined by losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The last 3 really got hurt by it. The Seahawks are really good again, but with a completely different roster
also, enjoy the next 3 years without a first round pick Rams
