Week 10 NFL Games

The tides could be changing. It's all up to the offense now to keep this momentum going.

I still think there was a place for Woodhead here even with a healthy Vereen. In my opinion he could play slot wide receiver at a very high level.

Woodhead could never play slot WR. He is actually most effective catching when he is lined up in the backfield because defenders have problems seeing him over the line of scrimmage. He would get killed in the slot.

The Broncos offense has become hot and cold in recent games. I still think they are very beatable because of it. Not for every team, but good teams could beat them.

I would have Woody over Blount and Amendola.

Amendola is a great player. We need him. But I think we should have kept woody and cut Blount. Vereen unfortunately got hurt. So we don't know what he is like in protection. Woody would have helped Tom a lot in the losses.

I think the Pats miss Woodhead more than Welker so far this season. But if the Pats had a healthy Vereen since week one, I don't think Woodhead would all that missed either.

Including the game to his point today Woodhead has been targeted 60 times and has 51 receptions this season. The 51 receptions would lead the Patriots.

woody brings a lot more than football ability. Guy plays with a big heart and a great locker room presence. We probably dont win the broncos game last yr without his amazing 3rd and 19 run.

Different offense. And if he and Vereen were both on the Pats and healthy, no way would he have 51 receptions with the Pats.

Yeah but he would not have been thrown to this much here. Its a different offense in SD.

I think Amendola is a good player when he is on the field, I think Danny Woodhead is better overall and is more durable.

We could have used in him the slot, he has all the tools, and he was stronger, faster and more explosive than Welker.

SF should blitz from the left side

I would have loved to see Steve Smith playing with Brady.

No. He is not. He is great in his own self but we didnt use him like that last few yrs also and he was very effective. He doesnt have the double/triple moves like welker in the slot.

Chargers playing scared.

Woodhead had a ridiculous pro-day I remember reading about him when the Jets signed him, they were planning to use him as a receiver but they thought they could sneak him onto the practice squad and then we stepped in.

I think he could have done it, that’s my opinion. I could be wrong but either way I saw a place on the Patriots for Danny Woodhead.

Graham Gano nails a 54 yard figgy to put the Panthers ahead in SF.

lot of people passed on welker for only seeing what they saw in these type of stats and pro day and stuff.None of the above stats says how how much better he is . Woody is not a replacement for welker. I wouldve still kept him though.

I don't know if the Pats probably don't win. The Pats won by 10 points and the Pats were up 17-7 when Woodhead completed that down.

I think Woodhead was a great player for this team and brought a lot of intangibles, but I think you might be overstating his influence in that game.
