The tides could be changing. It's all up to the offense now to keep this momentum going.
I would have Woody over Blount and Amendola.
I think the Pats miss Woodhead more than Welker so far this season. But if the Pats had a healthy Vereen since week one, I don't think Woodhead would all that missed either.
Including the game to his point today Woodhead has been targeted 60 times and has 51 receptions this season. The 51 receptions would lead the Patriots.

Amendola is a great player. We need him. But I think we should have kept woody and cut Blount. Vereen unfortunately got hurt. So we don't know what he is like in protection. Woody would have helped Tom a lot in the losses.
Yeah but he would not have been thrown to this much here. Its a different offense in SD.
We could have used in him the slot, he has all the tools, and he was stronger, faster and more explosive than Welker.

No. He is not. He is great in his own self but we didnt use him like that last few yrs also and he was very effective. He doesnt have the double/triple moves like welker in the slot.
lot of people passed on welker for only seeing what they saw in these type of stats and pro day and stuff.None of the above stats says how how much better he is . Woody is not a replacement for welker. I wouldve still kept him though.Woodhead had a ridiculous pro-day I remember reading about him when the Jets signed him, they were planning to use him as a receiver but they thought they could sneak him onto the practice squad and then we stepped in.

woody brings a lot more than football ability. Guy plays with a big heart and a great locker room presence. We probably dont win the broncos game last yr without his amazing 3rd and 19 run.
