EEI brings this idiot Keefe into the D&H time slot a few weeks agfo...the FIRST thing this damnable mutt does is declare Brady a cheater because some gofer idiot printed "deflater" in a text nine months before the AFC championship game. The FIRST THING he does. Why? Look at the ownership...Red McCombs, personal Jerruh Jones butt buddy scumbag...and you wonder why we get such horrible representation on our airwaves?

iHeartMedia, Inc. (formerly CC Media Holdings, Inc.) is an American mass media corporation headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. It is the holding company of iHeartCommunications, Inc. (formerly Clear Channel Communications, Inc.), a company founded by Lowry Mays and B. J. "Red" McCombs in 1972, and later taken private by Bain Capital, LLC and Thomas H. Lee Partners through a leveraged buyout in 2008. As a result of this buyout, Clear Channel Communications, Inc. began to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of CC Media Holdings, Inc.[6][7] On September 16, 2014, CC Media Holdings, Inc. was rebranded iHeartMedia, Inc.; and Clear Channel Communications, Inc., became iHeartCommunications, Inc.[8][9]

Since 2008, iHeartMedia, Inc., has struggled to pay down more than $20 billion in debt the company acquired from its leveraged buyout. Various media outlets, including Bloomberg News, Reuters, Radio Ink, and iHeartMedia's hometown newspaper the San Antonio Express-News, claim that either bankruptcy or a major restructuring is likely, and may come as early as 2016.

This is NOT a "conspiracy theory" witch hunt, this is the TRUTH. This clown Keefe, Tim Benz, the damnable Salk from Seattle...all of them dropped like bags of shyt on OUR heads by that peckerwood yee haw scumbag McCombs. Kraft should invest in a radio/TV presence that blots these outsider abominations out for good.

I live in metro New York (Long Guyland). WFAN dominates sports talk here, and is hands down more actual-sports-oriented with waaaaay less (if any) hot-takes-steaming-pile-of-anti-home-team-crap morons. I can listen to that station talk New York sports (!) FAR longer than I can tolerate the yucksters on either 98.5 or WEEI (with a few exceptions).

That IMHO is just wrong.

I do too and I agree with you. Even
BSPN 98.7 to a point talks sports on a regular basis more than the Boston "sports stations". I'd put Joe & Evan, Boomer and Carton, Francesa (even though he's a mega-Hatriot) and even old AF Steve Somers over anyone on EEI or 98.5 when it comes to sports related topics and phone calls.

Interesting that ClearChannel/iHeart/whatever is behind some of this....they are INFAMOUS for buying up clusters of radio stations in almost every city in the country, firing all of the DJs, and voicetracking them (meaning having a voice guy/gal record a show and then send it to a certain station, e.g. a person could be in NY and record for a Boston-based station and pretend they are based there, even so far as to read weather forecasts and traffic reports). Bad dealings with them.

some of you rich guys should buy an FCC license and put ME on the air.... Joe Kerr's Goodell Hour...sponsored by Westinghouse electric chairs, Dow chemical lethal injections and Louisville Slugger.

I promise the show and the station will be a REAL HIT...within hours

No thanks.
Just one mention of Goodell's name by a caller and I'd lose my FCC license.

The Boston media has taken a massive downturn. Neumy would have traded Betts Bogie and Erod for Cole Hamels so he's no big loss.

Price is solid, not flashy and being a good person to read. I always liked McAdam and hope he latches on.

There really needs to be an alternative show that can compete with these guys. And not worry about ratings because once you do, you change how your shows are done.

Tanguay, Felger, Keefe, Trenni, Turdase can all go. Yet they will stay and still somehow get high ratings. I don't understand it.

Like the midday show Lou and Chris are great. Morning show is awful both guys really whiney voices not what I want to hear in the morning. Dale and Holly is hit or miss but they usually get BB so I listen to that.

Oh and the post game show with Fred and Ordway us great.

That's terrible news.

Who they really need to drop is that irritating harpy Trenni Kusnierek.

Boy was I wrong about her.. I stuck up for her because I thought she was ok.. now I can't stand her. Typical troll and a Green Bay fan. Her and Felger should make babies together and move back to the Cheese packing country.

She tries to be a provocative hard-ass like Jackie MacMullan but it just doesn't work. She's just unlikable.

oh now they are not going to talk pats for the 12 minutes out of every hour that they are not playing ads.

The difference is, Jackie was an actual athlete and knows the **** out of basketball.

Glad I'm not the only one...I'll take Joe and Evan and The Godfather everyday of the week and twice on sundays over WEEI.

I've been trying to get into Boston sports radio more this season and at least for me it is just annoying. Pats can do no wrong type of crap.

That being said I remember listening to the Fan in the late 80's as a young kid in my fathers car, so it's what I'm used to.
