Any other suggestions?

“It’s a table full of veterans. All the guys are cutting up, having a good time. This is right around the pool. [Meriweather]’s kind of the young guy, kind of the odd man out, and he’s not saying much. He’s just laughing, joining in the festivities, and I walked over to him and — I [had seen] him order a drink from the waitress — I said, ‘Hey man, you do know that you can put all this on Bill’s room, right?’ Now you’ve got to remember, Belichick and the entire staff were coaching the AFC.
“Now I go up there saying that just busting his chops. I didn’t really know what was going to happen, but I figured I’d plant that seed. He looks at me and he says, ‘Are you serious?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, man. You don’t ever pay for your drinks when your coach is here coaching.’ I’m like, ‘Come on. Come on, rook.’ So I walk away; I’m not thinking anything of it.”
“Fast forward like four or five hours. I literally witnessed him walk up to Bill with his check, like the little card that has your bill in it, and hand it to coach Belichick and say, ‘Hey, thank you coach. I appreciate you,’ in a way only that he could do it. Like you could imagine what that conversation looked like.
“And I’ll never forget — Bill’s looking at him like, ‘What are you talking about?’ But Linda’s like, ‘Go ahead, take care of the tab. Help him out, right?’ It was the most uncomfortable awkward moment I’ve ever witnessed with coach.”
There is a strong belief with the CSN staff that this will have a major effect on its own programming. “SportsNet Central” — that show Neumeier and McAdam were just on — is not expected to survive much longer in its current form as the network shifts away from featuring a news/highlights program.
The staff was told Thursday that much of the programming in March will be infomercials and reruns of staff-produced documentaries (such as the recent one on the 1986 Celtics) as new shows get a “test drive.” Those shows will be opinion-driven, not information- and highlight-driven.
From Chad Finn's Globe article today about the CSN moves (article doesn't talk about WEEI). Looks like the crap just rolls on:
It's not just WEEI.com:

Couldn't agree with you more, OR. Here in Metro West, 6:00-10:00 am on TV offers Toucher and Rich on Comcast, WFAN/Boomer and Carton on CBSS and Mike and Mike on. ESPN2. At the beginning, my priorities were 98.5, ESPN2 and then WFAN. Over time, those priorities have been reversed: WFAN, ESPN2 and 98.5. I despise every New York team with the heat of a million suns. But, I've found that Boston teams get more respect on WFAN and ESPN2 ( unbelievably) than they do on 98.5.I live in metro New York (Long Guyland). WFAN dominates sports talk here, and is hands down more actual-sports-oriented with waaaaay less (if any) hot-takes-steaming-pile-of-anti-home-team-crap morons. I can listen to that station talk New York sports (!) FAR longer than I can tolerate the yucksters on either 98.5 or WEEI (with a few exceptions).
That IMHO is just wrong.

thanks for the link. The x Pats podcast is very good. Lots of good insights and stories by Koppen and Mayo. Giardi tries keep it moving and funny. BTW- I sometimes find Giardi very annoying, especially when he's on TV, but he DOES know football. IIRC he was a very good WR at a division 3 WR (Trinity I think). So he gets a bit of a pass from me, because he's not ignorant about the game.I guess you can check out PFW In Progress
PFW In Progress
I don't listen to it as much as I used to, because Andy and Paul (despite knowing their football really well) never seem to give this team their due respect. They really are prone to nitpick and complain.
John Rooke is more lowkey than PFW....though he might be a snooze lol
