I said Burrow was a top QB, you said everything I said was a lie… “fake news” you called it.

Lie… I don’t think that word means what you think it does.

You really need to get some help FAKE NEW WOZZY. Its just so delusional. I said nothing about Burrow. Please just put the joint down and stop posting until the munchies wear off.

You are the fake news. For the 75th time, I said nothing about Burrow. You can't even have a convo about the actual topic people are having without bringing in something not even related. Somehow me saying we can't dump $120 million into the line became I hate Joe Burrow. What the hell is wrong with you?

Alrighty then...

Yeah. I have to think they've chatted to Higgins' agent and have an idea if he'd even consider coming here. But they also need to seriously look at a trade if we just can't attract a free agent.

I look at Tee Higgins like this: He's a reasonably hot girl in a real small town. Every dude in town is going to take his shot. You could do a lot worse and you could do a lot better as well. Same thing here.

The one problem to that analogy is we can't leave town. So it's either the reasonably hot girl or the girl with the nice personality.

But I think it's interesting that we've offered to overpay two WRs and both spurned us for less money. So a trade might be in our best interest rather than risking getting to free agency and getting spurned again.

Probably the most reasonable perspective at this point.

Realistically speaking, we're likely to overpay/overcompensate whatever WR talent walks through the door, because we're pretty well starved for it. The hope is they perform to at least 80% of what we hope for.

No, we can't, but she can. She has options. Hopefully we can make her fall in love. My guess is that she's not going to be charmed, and we shouldn't be falling in love with her just yet, either.

Yeah, I think we have to overpay now, until Drake comes into his own and they start winning.

I wish there were some WR or LT trades that made sense, but '26 FA agent class is pretty ugly to try the trade for a rookie on the last year of his deal move.

I hope that guy below is on the Trading Block: he would be a nice addition. But Ben Johnson might not want to part with him now.

Breer is a hot take machine. It is his opinion based on no facts. To claim that the Pats have nothing to offer is a bit too much. He may feel Vrabel is a great coach and Maye could be a top QB with a real #1 WR and that he could be that #1 WR.

The Pats are not a team with no hope for the future with a coach on the hotseat and a big question mark at QB. Those are some of the teams that the Pats will be competing with.

Before Josh Allen, the Bills still got in demand free agents. So did teams that were cellar dwellers (at least at the time) in unattractive parts of the country and/or had high income tax rates.

Correct. The situations have changed since we were chasing Aiyuk and Ridley. And obviously money matters to Higgins, or he'd be staying in Cincinnati. That said, a clear plan B with a trade candidate would make a lot of sense. I don't know if that's Kupp or Deebo or DK or Wilson, but hopefully the team will soon be having those conversations.

I agree that Breer is stuck in 2024 when it comes to the Pats. Vrabel>Mayo, Maye>Jones, JMcD>AVP. They are far from undesirable. I think the location has more to do with it than anything else. If I were some 20 something looking to make a chit ton of money on this contract, I'd probably pick a winning team or one with that offered a off-field lifestyle that was very attractive. If I am not going to a playoff team, where is the coolest place to live, based on whatever lifestyle I want?

I don’t know I think Vrabel and Maye can recruit.
By now everyone knows the Krafts are a clown show. Players will want to see results before they believe Vrabel et al can work through the idiocy.

Awwwwww awwww.

What’s up with Albert Breer when it comes to this team? He seems like a salty ex girlfriend or something when he’s talking about the team.

Felgeritis. Negative **** gets clicks, positive, team friendly talk gets ignored.
