We Gave Up A 2nd Round Pick For Sanu

Wouldn’t call him trash, but another lumbering possession type was not what this team needed from the WR position. They needed someone that can get open at the deeper and more intermediate levels. Sanders was had for a 3rd and a 4th and the 49ers got a 5th back. I’d be much better with that compensation for Sanders in this offense instead of a two for Sanu.

im not going to speculate on whether they needed a possession recv or deep/intermediate (although I agree w you)...but as a possession recv he's been trash. he isnt doing it. 52% catch rate for a posession is a joke, and thats not even considering the other issues (blocking, game awareness) that cropped up.

Lol funny, but I don’t think it’ll end up being close at all. The 2nd for Sanu seems like a bit much, but he’s dealing with injuries, learning the most intricate playbook (maybe outside of N.O.) in the league after getting traded here mid-season AND getting in sync with Brady. Hard stuff. Sanu will be better with a little more time. Richards just flat out sucks.

So far hasn’t been the trade we hoped for. Don’t fault them for trying and I’m just going to wait until next season before making a declaration that doesn’t matter to anyone.

As of right now though he doesnt seem to be fitting in very well. Maybe with a healthy Edelman and a more established Harry he does do better? However, seems we might be suited to take a long shot “again” at finding that AJ Brown type.

For instance someone asked for data comparing my draft grades to others. I provided a ton of that proving my were better & welcomed anyone to dig in.
That's not insecure but rather confidence in what I can do. Maybe others are insecure? I'm certainly not good at everything & never claimed to be.

However were in a football & all one has to do is go through someones post history to find out who's bringing what to the table. No one is asking for you opinion bc you've offered no insight, broke down no plays/techniques or anything worth while in terms of a football acumen.

Sorry but the truth hurts & all you do is post garbage consistently. Next time you post something meaningful will be the first.

Chandler Jones was had for a 2nd round pick. He consistently leads the league in sacks.

Jimmy G was had for a 2nd round pick. He’s closing in on 30 passing TD’s and a possible one seed for his team.

Corey Dillon was had for a 2nd round pick. He was a 1,000 yard Pro Bowl RB.

Name anyone else traded for a 2nd and he’s probably better than Sanu. There’s no argument on how bad this trade was.

That thread has been gutted. It used to be good, with a lot of knowledge being posted, but all the in fighting has dwindled it to 3 pages of PP2 posting insights from the analysts. I appreciate those posts because it explains plays in an understandable way without all the drama.
