Ravens are the last team to win a SB from the WC round. Flacco was playing out of his mind. Their defense was in its prime. Bolden was a beast too. After this, we went six straight years where the 1 or 2 seeds met in the Super Bowl. Just to give everyone some context on how long it's been.

This team doesn't have a QB playing great. And they don't have a defense on that level.

Brady has sucked all year....today he had ALL TIME to throw and there were guys open...(yes Sanu dropped a lot) But Tom wildly overthrew Or underthrew players all game....if something is wrong with his elbow or BB is getting feeling Tom isn’t into it (which looks like he isn’t all in this year) ...or that he just doesn’t have it anymore.....BB should have done something. Hate like bleep to see the GOAT go out like this.....

I don’t think so. I’m not gonna get on brady. He’s clearly not 100 percent .

Let’s look at the receiving options:

Sanu—if he gets 25 yards a game he’s doing well

Dorsett—he has about 125 yards.....since week #4

Harry—he makes Sanu look like Jerry Rice with totals of 10, 12, and 15 yards a game

Watson—what’s he have? 16 catches? 18 catches? Maybe 20 for the year?

Edelman—playing injured

These are the players that some people think are getting open without issue? Lol.

You forgot Meyers. Who besides dropping perfect balls that go through his hands and hit him in the numbers, now also commits stupid penalties like today's 2 players in motion and not setting 1 second at a crucial time that wiped out a possession (wiped out a 3rd down conversion). Meyers was removed from the game after that.

Meanwhile you also forgot to mention Sanu's legendary blocking ability who almost lost us the game last week after a Harry sweep on 4th and 1 was blown up by Sanu looking for his defender to block.

The road is much harder, but if they are successful that will make it even better. Just like last year was sweeter winning in KC. They might be done after next week, or things might look brighter. No sense worrying about KC until you beat TN

Around game # 5, a long time and very astute poster created a thread portending the Pats WR problems.

The person was ridiculed and called a Troll. Everything was OK they said. Wait for Harry they said. 16 and 0.

You know what eye opening? Im watching the Eagles-Giants game. Fans are thrilled to be watching their 500 team fighting to barely make the playoffs. Some of you guys act like the Patriots just ran over your pet dog. Ill be at the game next week cheering just as hard for our team.

This game will be a dogfight, but should be a victory.

Anyone remember Ray Rice from the 2009 postseason? Say hi to Derrick Henry...

Edelman and that turnstile Cannon could have used an extra weeks rest it seems.

If the Eagles won three of the last five SB's, just making the postseason wouldn't be acceptable. Different expectations.

I think it’s 50-50. This team right now should not get the benefit of the doubt. The titans have a better passing game. That’s not a stretch to say. I’m going into the game with no expectations.

Damn it, ill be pissed if it’s one. Only time slot I can’t watch

Our defense is definitely on their level. This wasn’t the 2000 ravens. The 2012 version’s defense was middle of the pack in rush pass and scoring. Flacco had the run of his life and rode the momentum from the Denver game all the way through.

20% of the posters on this board revel in the Pats struggles. Being able to repeat how bad Brady is or how BB is incompetent brings them joy. They want to show us "homers" how right they've been and finally open our eyes to their truth. Most are the same ones who buried the team last year and who turned the TV off down 28-3 to the Falcons. They have been right about 23% of the time during the Brady era and today is a day for them to gloat. Congrats to all of you for the Pats proving you right today.

And while you may think us homers are deluded, all of us know that substantial post season success is a long shot this year. Will not stop us from rooting hard for the team and thinking there is a chance until the final second ticks off the clock. I have been optimistic about this team winning about 99% of the time in the past 20 years and have fortunately been proven right more times than not.

This team has issues, Brady may be down to his last game in a Pats uniform next week. Some want to make sure they do not miss their chance to bash the greatest player in league history on his way out the door.

Sunday early game looks most likely.

Because Bills/Texans is 100% getting the early Saturday ESPN game and we’re probably the second least sexy matchup on paper.

Do you even remember that 2009 defense? Im guessing not.

Sunday afternoon at 1 PM would suck...even if NE wins, they would probably make us go to KC for the Saturday game the following week. All they had to do was win today against one of the worst teams in the league...

I disagree. Taking things for granted here is more like it. People are spoiled and dont appreciate.

First round byes are an unfair abomination and a blemish on this league. NFL needs to get rid of them asap
