Jeff Demps was pretty fast but...

Treyveon's OROY resume looking pretty good right now.

1100 yards from scrimmage.

Meanwhile the other candidates who he had lapped prior to his concussion last week, ALL have had underwhelming performances this week.

We all know he can break a big run. Today, I was more impressed by how many times he put his head down and powered forward for extra yards. He's rounding out his game, and he still looks like he hasn't hit his ceiling. He'll likely finish the year with 1200 yards from scrimmage and close to double-digit touchdowns. Great young player, still ascending. I don't think Egbuka (who I wanted with that pick if available) or Slough are close enough to make it a meaningful race for OROY.

Yep. I'm racking my brain trying to come up with a comparable over the last 40 years and I can't except for CMart.

Pats had one with the talent in the early 90s...Jon Vaughn out of Michigan. Had the gamebreaking ability but was on such ****ty teams.
Brian Westbrook…the receiving volume will come soon

Tet had an almost nonexistent performance this week. He was the odds on fave, but now trails Trey by over 200 yds from scrimmage.

Shough is a weird one for me. He has played 9 games. Id expect a guy who is a heavy fave and played that few games to be doing absurd things statistically.

After not being featured for the 1st 7 weeks and being concussed for another game, Trey is averaging roughly 100 yards a game.

Collins had good speed, but not Henderson type speed.
The only RB I can think of that had that sort of speed the Patriots have ever had is Dion Lewis. Maybe Horace Ivory, but I don't think even he was that fast.

I’m a Pat’s fan since 1975, I don’t remember Ivory having that kind of speed. Lewis was a different kind of back, more shifty than Henderson, but I think in a straight line race, Henderson is faster. Henderson has done some things no Patriot’s back has ever done as far as long TD runs.

So, then Hendo is a 1 of 1..

Hendo passes Tony Collins for 3rd most rushing yards.
