Hollins cut?
If he doesn't/can't participate in camp as he hasn't all off season he could be IR bound. The question becomes does Vrabel want to take away a roster spot from a guy like say chichismby keeping Hollins on the active roster if he's not a full go takes away a spot from a player that's healthy.

Lol, KB is going to make the roster he knows Josh offense and he looks really good this offseason. Diggs, Williams, KB, chism, pop, Boutte feel like the guys to me.
I think we carry Six too and Hollins is the odd man out.

He hasn't been practicing either. We have some young talented guys in Williams, Chism. I cannot see Vrabel preferring to keep him over those guys. Hollins was a Josh singing anyway. Prior to us getting Diggs, and the emergence of Chism and Williams.

Sure hope so.

Williams and Chism are already better.

Once again you claim Mapu “ doesn’t know what he is,” when he’s not the one deciding where he plays. I don’t care if he makes the team or not, but blaming him because his coaches keep changing his role him makes no sense. He’s just doing what they ask him to do.
Since the day he was drafted, he couldn't tell you whether he was a LB or S. That's a red flag. An OL may go from T to G or G to T, but they know they are an OL. Same for DB. McCourty and Malcolm Jenkins are rare examples where they were drafted high at CB, but played poorly and had to try another position at S where they excelled. They at least knew they were a DB. Edelman knew he was never going to play QB, so he put in the work to play WR. Other players have done the same. They created an identity.

Mapu on the other hand, has no identity. He's already tried both S and LB and has done very poorly. Can he rush the passer? If so, he needs to speak up and give the coaches something else to try him out at. I don't know about you, but if my job is on the line, I'm going to think about where I could excel, have a conversation with my HC and really work on that - not wait until where coach puts me. So yes, I'm going to keep saying this until he decides where he wants to play or he's cut.

Lowe has 21 nfl starts, and over 1200 snaps in his career.
he is 25 years old and was a project to begin with.
he has the size and strength to play the position. his footwork and technique is improving.
in a league that is very short on OT's, giving up on Lowe is a bad idea. he has improved each year, plays thru injury and is a hard worker.
with Marrone and McD now on board, he could take another step up with his play.
We have no idea what kind of coaching Lowe received last season. How much was he hampered or even damaged by the coaching malfeasance we’ve heard about from other players on the roster. Keion White has flat out said he received no coaching and had to do it all himself.
“I was training myself, I’m not going to lie,” White told reporters at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, per a team-provided video. “Now, I feel like I have a coach.”
If Lowe and the rest of the OL was in the same boat there’s no telling how much they can improve just by being coached. Heck, maybe a good coach could teach Lowe how to better use his hands?

Or PUP

There were better players we could have had instead of Mapu... I hate the pick too.

Give me some of what you're smoking regarding Lowe. He's a straight line to the QB.

He’s on his 3rd head coach. The idea that he’s the one driving the train is ludicrous. Although I’m sure most rookies come in and say “ Bill, we need to have a heart to heart talk. I’m really a strong safety, and I don’t appreciate you playing me as a hybrid linebacker. Go home and think on it, and when you come in tomorrow I expect to be playing strong safety. If not you are going to go through some things…..”

You're exaggerating and making too many excuses for him.

You can keep saying it all you want, but that isn’t going to make it true, or make you look smart. Players play where they are told to play, they don’t tell the head coach where they are going to play. And no amount of repeating otherwise is ever going to make it true.

You're exaggerating and making too many excuses for him.

Never in my life have I ever exaggerated anything. Everything I say is 100% true and accurate. I don’t even make jokes. I’m pretty much a robot.

He’s a terrible athlete, he has no business playing in the NFL. If a team needs a turnstile with really long arms he’s your guy.
