1) He does not have Reggie White-like talent, he's a pass rusher. No brainer. Elite talent. Team Leader would jump start rebuild. No one at 4 is close to his talent level.
Would browns accept it probably not, might have to throw in a 26 2nd rounder

I can't see a scenario where they go from 4 to the 20s. I don't think any team has ever made a trade like that from the top 5.Trading for 4 Garret is ass9, now if you trade down to the 20s and trade that fist for Garrett we can talk,
No, he has more like 3 good years left. He’s old enough to be starting to decline any time now. He might still be a good NFL player in 4 or 5 years, but no longer superstar caliber, and he’ll be overpriced before then.No one in this class is even close to the talent level of him, and he probably has 5 - 6 good years left so I’d trade 4, but there’s about 0 chance he’d accept a trade to the Pats.
Well said, I totally agree. Look at Miami and the mistakes they have made. It's a big no thanks from meNo, he has more like 3 good years left. He’s old enough to be starting to decline any time now. Definitely not worth the #4 pick. For #4 overall you want to get a foundational player. One you’ll have for cheap for five years on the rookie contract, and will extend to get another three years or so out of them before they insist on breaking the bank for some other team while they still can.
Garrett is already premium priced, and his best-used-by date is within sight.
No thanks.
He had 14 sacks last season we had 28 as a team.. I'd love to have a player of his Caliber with that kind of congenital problem. I guess it will all depend what the Browns would want in return. No one in this class is even close to the talent level of him, and he probably has 5 - 6 good years left so I’d trade 4, but there’s about 0 chance he’d accept a trade to the Pats.
Carter is a younger cheaper version of Parsons.Parsons yeah, Garret no.
If somehow all of Carter, Hunter, and Graham go in the first 3 picks, I would love to be the first team ever who went from picking top 5 to the 20s after multiple trade downs. I mean you could end up filling 3 needs with Simmons/Membou/Conerly for LT, Burden/Golden for WR, and the best dt/edge available all before we go on the clock for a 4th time at pick 38...I can't see a scenario where they go from 4 to the 20s. I don't think any team has ever made a trade like that from the top 5.
Good chance Carter isn’t available at 4, and the odds of him being as good as Parsons is slim.Carter is a younger cheaper version of Parsons.
One thing I’ve noticed in the last few seasons young rookie pass rushers are making an impact very early.
I think this is a position you can bolster in the first 4 tokens of the draft.
You know what Cousin, I think you are right. How do they do it with their CAP.Howie Rossen of the Eagles might be even a betting man's pick. Graham is retiring. They are going to lose Milton Williams(Patriots?) in FA.The Chiefs will work some more Devil magic to put Myles on the same DLine as Chris Jones
In general I agree, but there isn’t anybody in the draft as close to as good as Garrett is right now and likely will be for the next 3-5 years. No, he has more like 3 good years left. He’s old enough to be starting to decline any time now. He might still be a good NFL player in 4 or 5 years, but no longer superstar caliber, and he’ll be overpriced before then.
