Trade #4 overall for Myles Garret

Absolute insanity. Trading high picks for big name big money players before you are a true contender is exactly how the Dolphins screwed themselvves and their future. They traded for Tyreek Hill, Bradley Chubb, and Jalen Ramsey. Haven’t even sniffed a conference championship game, and are now losing their best players ( Wilkins and Van Ginkel) because they can’t afford to sign them.
Heck the Dolphins didn’t even trade for Suh. They just gave him a huge contract when they weren’t close to being contenders and they just waisted time and cap space. They were actually worse the year they got him had a single playoff appearance where they were bounced in the wildcard round during his run and realized it was a mistake and got rid of him.

You invest money and draft resources in a single player when you think you have a solid unit and they push it over the top and can be the difference for a title run. When you have a million holes to fill you are constricting yourself for one person

Myles is closer to Reggie than Pickens is to Moss for what it’s worth.
Difference is Pickens is 23 and feasibly had 10 years left. Myles is 30 and might have 2 or 3 solid years left.

We are rebuilding, Myles might have 1 or 2 years left if any by the time we open a window. Pickens even if it’s a long rebuild could have 5 or more

I’m just talking talent-wise. Steelers can keep that cancer at WR in Pissburgh

I agree, I don't want the headache, Steelers WR's who are headcases tend to be a lot more of a problem once off the Steelers.

But timing is everything. Garrett is a better player, but he's not useful for the situation the Patriots are in. We need a roster overhaul and it's just bad business to lock money that could be used elsewhere in a player who will not really be around post rebuild.

Pickens at least you could justify as costing less and being here when it matters

My comment was in McDaniels offense he plays the Moss Role.
Big long and fast excellent straight line speed adjusts to the ball in the air would be perfect for Drake.
Now I don’t know if PITT would do it but he’s young enough and you can evaluate him before you give him big time money plus get the extra pick for Oline or D line,

I think Vrabel and McDaniels keep him in check and Pickens has never had a high caliber QB throwing him the ball.
It sounds like the best way to secure a top talent if Hunter or Carter isn’t there,
In this scenario Pitt will be moving up for Shedaur Sanders.

That is a terrible suggestion mate.

I am surrounded by pot shops. And none of them has any product that could get me as high as some of the poster’s here. Now George Pickens is Randy Moss, and Myles Garrett is Reggie White.

I’m going to go out looking right now, I have to get in the right frame of mind for my Cole Strange is John Hannah post I’m writing later today.
I said in McDaniels offense he has the physical characteristics and a skill level where he can play that kind of role.

I work in the trades, and I can tell you from years of experience that the first thing you do is to put the roof on. Once that is done you dig the foundation. But in the meantime be sure to buy a really expensive car to put in the driveway, because the garage will end up being too expensive to build when all is said and done.

And I said that you are huffing gasoline out of a 5 gallon can.

I don't understand why everyone wants to give up on number 4 who will be a cornerstone player for next 4+1 years on a rookie contract .

I don't care if Carter or Hunter or not available just draft Graham or Johnson with it or trade down to grab an extra 1st 2nd rounder. No way should this be used as a trade chip for a veteran unless we get a stud vet less than age 28 and another round 1 pick back in future .
Who is the cornerstone player at 4?
Not Carter, Mason or Hunter.
Good potential but elite cornerstone? No

The Chiefs will work some more Devil magic to put Myles on the same DLine as Chris Jones
Ehhh not too sure about that they're approaching Saints levels in terms of the cap. I think they'd want to avoid that

Maybe Hunter. This draft doesn’t have the high end potential of other drafts. I was watching some NFL insiders say that Carter would be behind Garrett, the Bosa bros, Anderson, and Hutchinson if he was in their draft classes. He has upside but he’s also a lot smaller then them and some feel he’s not a 3 down player and more a pass rush specialist.

Cowboys have had internal discussions about trading Parsons according to Rap I believe.

At this point, we can almost assume that every dumb thread is written by you. Another “winner” of a take.
