The Hateful Eight was good, so was Manchester by the Sea. The Shape of Water won best picture last year. That was alright. Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom was pretty good. What are some of the better movies of the last 3-4 years? Not arguing against, just genuinely curious because it hasn’t felt like there’s been those “must see” timeless classics compared to just about any other decade. Could just be me being under a rock though. Feels like an over saturation of superhero and social justice themes these days intended to woo the Academy.
