In the past this board has reveled in what seems to be deficits by Mike Woicik then Harold Nash, maybe it is time to heap some praise on Moses Cabrera..

This has been an outstanding year from the point of injuries.. our O line has played about 95% of the offensive snaps for the year. McCourty, Chung and Butler have all played over 95% of the snaps as well.. Ryan played about 85%, but his absence was not because of injury.. The injured reserve list of Tre Jackson, Sebastian Vollmer, Rob Gronkowski, Jonathan Freeney and Gregg Scruggs is minimal compared to last year.

Not sure Cabrera is responsible for all of this, but what ever he is doing does not hurt this team..

Yeah. Last year was an abomination. A combination of health (with the obvious exception of Gronk) and Scar was all the difference this season.

Moses Cabrera

I have an issue with people trying to link certain injuries to the previous health and conditioning coach because a lot of it is just stupid luck. I think the Gronk back injury is the best example of it. If he gets hit/falls just at a slightly different angle nothing happens and he plays on. Similarly, there is no correlation between ACLs, fractures or other bigger injuries and the conditioning.

On the other hand we didn't have many groin injuries or other pulled muscles which definitely is connected to good coaching. Similarly, the conditioning of players seems to be very good to the point where I have rarely seen players clearly worn down. Hell, Alan Branch played over 60% of snaps..

It does seem they've avoided the type of injuries flexibility prevents. Who know, but that thought was in my mind this season. Could be the avocado ice cream, though.

Cabrera has a degree in kinesiology and exercise science which is pretty ideal background for the position.
