Time to repent

I also thought the Patriots would make a playoff run last year with Mayo as coach.
It's not your fault.

Once you stepped between those white lines, there was nothing he could do for you.

Great point! Then I take back my mea culpa. Mayo has my back lol

I expected slow, incremental growth from Maye, something like Josh Allen’s 2019 season, and was skeptical that he would ever reach top QB status, let along in year 2. His completion % is about 8 points higher than I expected, and I figured he’s have 10 picks by now.

I expected the team to be 8-4 at this point, with losses to Miami, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Tampa.

I have nothing to repent over.

I didn't make any predictions.

I never thought they'd be in the hunt for the #1 seed though.

One of the most pleasant surprises has been Diggs' quick return from his injury and his level of play. He's an elite WR in this league.

I was among the folks clamoring for Hunter, Carter, or trade down from the 4. Wanted Josh Simmons as the LT with a later pick instead. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. On top of Simmons missing time due to personal reasons, he comes back and now is hurt again.

The most delicious plate of crow I've eaten in a long time. Love having Campbell on this team, love what Vrabel and Co. have done. Couldn't be happier with how things have played out so far.

Campbell on the IR too. So....
Pats made the right pick. At least right now.

I'm aware and truthfully I'm not concerned. Campbell's had a better rookie season so far and I'm not worried about Campbell going AWOL on the team like Simmons did with the Chiefs earlier this season.

I think i was one of the few people early who said the following... I had them at 10-7... but i did mention their ceiling was something crazy like 14-3 and a super bowl contender. And while i had some teams ranked over them, i gave them an actual chance to go to the bowl and an outside shot to win. Though i don't remember if i said i thought they could. I might have said going was their limit. But there are teams i probably thought had a likilihood to be better but didn't have that ceiling.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!

Initially, I bought the idea that because a rebuilt/young O-line was likely to be better initially at run blocking than at passpro, and that the running back room was one of our strongest groups, we would do well running the ball and that the pass game would feature a lot of play action offf of that success running the ball.. None of these have proven out.
