If we are not going to win the Superbowl then I hope the Ravens win it again. Reason for that is because it will mean that a certain retired LB cannot be credited with being the force behind them winning it.

If they win again, they tie the Pats for most SB wins. I would truly have to strain my creative process to think of a worse fate than that, given the fact Jets south would not stop yapping, ever.

If you're going to play it straight with the spread, I'd consider buying an additional 1/2 point to take it down to an even 7.

It won't cost much and will cover you so that you can push with a one score win. Sometimes the first week is more unpredictable than we'd initially think, especially if Champ Bailey is out along with Von Miller.

Just a thought.

I chose the Ratbirds before I even saw the third option, but a Broncos loss is the best outcome here. The Ravens are going to have plenty of competition in their own division this year with the ascending Bengals and the Steeler rivalry, while the Broncos have an almost unimpeded path to the playoffs.

Broncos losses are VERY important for the Pats wherever they can get them this season. Root for them, as painful as it is in this case. That said, the Broncos should roll in this game.
