Manning is gonna do what Manning and Brady do best. Take the helm as start calling the play themselves a little more. Only Brady does it better. Interesting how the Broncos got the TD. They took advantage of the Chargers not treating Decker with the respect they'd give Welker, and giving him just pure single coverage. Instead of going pass, they put Decker in position to lock onto his single coverage opponent in the run game, and that allowed Caldwell to pretty much walk into the endzone.

That was a good job of taking a weakness (Decker's lesser ability to get open quick against coverage) and making it a (blocking) strength. Had Welker been in there, there probably would have been a LB in the area.

I thought a handful and lift of the outer shoulder pad was holding? Have the rules changed? Each week I see plays where the impact block seems to come at the cost of a defender being absolutely mugged. Bear hugs, arm wraps, reach and grab of the outer shoulder....What happened to tight is right?

Although to be fair, that Matthews rd should have had a flag on the lt or the te/wr. Both got away with murder at the point of attack.

The fact the Chargers didn't get any points out of that last drive better not come back to haunt them. Unbelievable! Then they don't even stop them on 4th down.

Just get a TD here and it should be over. PLEASE.
