I think the Jets already have a decent shot as AFCE champs next year with or without AD ... Sanchez is a year older, they commit to the run and play outstanding defense. That's a formula for success.

Sorta like all the turd he brought in in 2001-2004 like Otis Smith, Bryan Cox, Roman Phifer, Rodney Harrison, Ted Washington, and Corey Dillon. Imagine how bad they would have been if they were older seasoned veterans when they came in.

Besides, Semour still has a lot left. The guy is 30, not 35.

?? Over in the UK we have a coach breaking down that play on TV who showed that basically that play was the entire fault of AD who wasn't where he should have been. It looked like AD showed zero hustle to me, maybe I'm missing something

That only applies to players whose contracts have expired, not those guys who were cut ( as Thomas would be since he has 2 years left on his contract).

Yeah, imagine if the Pats brought in an older guy like Randy Moss in in 2007, this team would have gone 1-15.

Bringing in vets does still work. The Pats just needs to bring in more of the right vets.

And we were patsies for getting our hopes up only to be betrayed.

And it is possible that AD deliberatley threw the game. He's that spiteful.

Try to cover up all you want. I have never heard a Pats fan ever call the Pats Patsies. It is a derogoratory term that is used by Jets fans. Stop BSing us by using a random play from a season.

BTW, AD did not throw the game. He didn't have a great game, but he was by far not the worse player on the defense today.

i don't know where that guy's coming from, but i'm cutting a lot of people out here a lot of slack today...pretending they didn't say the things they said...

i made a post in another thread where i distinguished between today's game and the team/season in general this year...

every real fan has a right to be angry and bothered at the Pats' failure to show up today but that doesn't mean they can trash the whole enterprise.

However, i've got a few years on most of you and I'm willing to forgive some youthful irrationality...i wouldn't want to be held to everything i said when i was 20 or so...(but I would have a few of the girls back )

But he has been here before and I think openly as a Jets fan. He was here recently (the last few weeks) talking about how great Mark Sanchez is making throws that Brady can't make like the dropped pass by Braylon Edwards last night.
