Good read,thanks.

Entertaining read. Nice description of the media's struggle to find the right spin for Peyton Manning's Super Bowl FAIL.

In a related story, Patriots fans can now officially drop Baskett from the list of "Wide Receivers we could've drafted instead of CHAD JACKSON, d%#*!@t!" That leaves GREG JENNINGS, MARQUES COLSTON, BRANDON MARSHALL and JASON AVANT. (At least.)

Thanks for checking in. It was good to get that off my chest. Most of the news is unwatchable and unlistenable, and while the sports media isn't AS bad, it still could be a lot better. It would be nice if they could act like - or at least treat US like - grown ups.

Yep. He's still a great player, might still end up being the best, but it was a setback, for sure. So much for middle ground.

It really is amazing how massively it can affect your team to swing and miss on early draft picks. Taking any of those guys, especially Jennings, which is who the Packers took at our pick selection that year - in other words, long after we took CJ - would change the makeup of the Patriots offense quite a lot.
