There appears to only be 2 games that won't kill this team if they lose

Those games are at Seattle and home against Arizona - They lose those 2 games and ONLY those 2 games, and they most likely still sneak in the playoffs as a #5 or #6 seed

They of course are 2 NFC teams which won't hurt against conference record if it comes down to tiebreakers

This team has a mediocre conference record right now with 4 losses already and will probably lose any tiebreaker that may come about, so if they are to go 4-2 which is the most likely record or shall we say the best case scenerio to have the team finish up 4-2 and go to 10-6 as wild card or a longshot as division champs then they CANNOT afford to lose another single AFC game

Miami,Pittsburgh,Oakland and Buffalo are MUST wins or this team will not make the postseason - NO more AFC losses.

Losing to Pittsburgh won't hurt them much either, since they almost certainly won't be involved in a tiebreaker.

If they win four games, they'll probably get in. If Miami and Buffalo are among those four, I think they'll almost certainly get in.

And I wouldn't give up the Division yet. After this weekend, there will likely be another tie atop the AFC East.

Unless 3 wild card candidates all finish with an 11-5 record, there is no one game that kills the Patriots.

That means that no team from the AFC West could do it, Colts/Titans could from the AFC South, Steelers/Ravens could from the AFC North, and the Jets/Dolphins could from the AFC East.

It's really 2 losses that put the Patriots in significant, likely danger of losing a playoff berth, not just 1.
