It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to extend the franchise/transition tag deadline to 11:59:59 a.m. ET on Monday, March 16, according to multiple reports. Adam Schefter of ESPN was first with the news.
This deadline extension also sets up what will be a wild couple of days on the NFL calendar. One second after the the league's franchise deadline passes is the start of the legal tampering period.
You gotta wonder...if he receives a bunch of low-ball offers, what does he do?I said before what if nobody wants him and he retires?
No way, man. That’s nonsense. Who wouldn’t want to catch passes from Stid the Stud?If I were Edelman, I’d want out if Brady is gone.
I don't give a mouse's ass what happens ...Man, it is absolutely bananas how many words have been spilled here and everywhere about this.

Got there a while ago. All the fawning over a 43 year old former MVP who needs more and more time off each season got tiresome. He shouldn’t have anywhere near as much airtime as he has gotten.
It is interesting to see which team will commit a colossal mistake in signing TB other than the Pats.
You definitely care. You just don’t want Brady back.
What exactly is his “brand” other than copying “TB12” with “JE11”?I don't know about that. He probably has one year left...he's been trying to build a brand, and I don't imagine he'll be very popular outside of the region. I think it's best for him long term to be a lifetime Patriot.

Wouldn’t shock me if nobody wants a 43 years old QB. In addition, he requires what is becoming an archaic style offensive. I also don’t think WR’s/TE’s want to learn to be clairvoyant’s.You gotta wonder...if he receives a bunch of low-ball offers, what does he do?

Isn’t that the point? What team is going to offer a 43 year old massive money? My guess is the Pats move on easier and more successfully than Brady does. Just a hunch.
A team desperate to fill a stadium in a new location?
I think there's going to be interest at the right price, but nowhere near the ridiculous numbers some of these guys are throwing around.Wouldn’t shock me if nobody wants a 43 years old QB. The NFL has decided to make things a bit more interesting.

Kinda like the Coronavirus?Man, it is absolutely bananas how many words have been spilled here and everywhere about this.
These points are why he may not have a choice and either return or retire. However, would not shock me if Harry and Myers both want him gone as they can start with a clean slate learning the offense with the next QB. Kind of like when Brady was still learning with Deion Branch, David Givens, Daniel Graham and Ben Watson.I think there's going to be interest at the right price, but nowhere near the ridiculous numbers some of these guys are throwing around.
I can't wrap my head around why he'd leave to begin with. He's crabby old Dan Marino when guys run the wrong route. He doesn't go to OTAs and doesn't have his core guys up to Montana to work in the off season. So now he's going to go a new team, with a new staff, a new system, and new receivers, get on the same page in one camp and be better than he was here in 2019?
Ok.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the joy has left the game for him and he doesn't know it? He's hanging on too long, trying to recapture that magic once more? Mentally sharp and feels physically like he can do it?
I think it was Parcells that said in the end, the losses hurt worse and the wins don't feel as good. Maybe? Maybe that's where Tom is and hasn't figured that out. Who the hell knows.
