I'm still very confused so I'll have to wait until my feet are over the fire. Should I post it before or after my traditional/annual pre-draft round of golf?

I too traditionally golf on Draft Saturday.

Normally I would do an all Samoan / Pacific islander draft but the Patriots have not gone that way much since Mosi alas...hmmm but there is Stephen Paea (a Tonga guy).

Ever seen the Kiwi Maori Rugby Team do the Hakka? Hmmmm...

Ya know, it's funny that you say that Box. I originally selected Ryan Williams, then went back and saw his picks, where he had selected Ryan Matthews.

I thought I was right the first time, but it threw me off.

That, and I should stop posting in the middle of the night when I can't sleep

(anyway, thnx for bringing it to my attention)

Okay, so 'the wrothbroughterer' effed me all up. I mean Ryan Williams instead of Ryan Matthews--who as Box pointed out, has already been selected I suppose it's better than having selected Dave Matthews, who probably couldn't run the ball too well either.

What's the difference anyway, I'll probably be lucky to get one guy.

So---

Wilkerson
Heyward
Vareen
Wisnewksi
Watkins
Ryan Williams
Acho
Boling
Romeus

Let the record show that, last year, 2010, four of my choices were drafted by the team. Regrettably, that team was the Philadelphia Eagles. As for this year, I am waitng to tune in to the proper channel...

Between the Eagles and Ravens ... :enranged:

1. Phil Taylor NT ( move Wilfork to RDE ) .
2. Cameron Heyward DE
3. Orlando Franklin OG
4. Stefan Wisniewski OC
5. Luke Stocker TE
6. Shane Vareen RB
7. Byron Maxwell CB
8. Pierre Allen DE
9. Nathan Enderle QB

I was actually thinking about this last week -- the all-bloodlines draft. It actually isn't even 1000% unrealistic. Even sort of works round-by-round, and a lot of these guys fit Patriot needs perfectly. BB usually drafts 1-2 relatives of current or former NFL players anyway (there were three just last year in McCourty, Gronkowski and Spikes). Here goes:

Cam Jordan
Cam Heyward
Mark Ingram
Edmund Gates
Stefen Wisniewski
Casey Matthews
Jason Pinkston
Greg Lloyd
Rich Lapham

Here is my go!!

J.J. Watt
Cameron Jordan
Ryan Kerrigan
Justin Houston
Da'Quan Bowers
Cameron Heyward
Nate Solder
Muhammad Wilkerson
Ben Ijalana
Danny Watkins

Muhammad Wilkerson
Cam Heyward
Shane Vereen
Ahmad Black
Nate Soldier
Ryan Williams
Ryan Kerrigan
Pouncey Light
Darrin Walls
Stephen Schilling
Marcus Cannon (and put his big ass at the 4 technique!)
Greg Romeus

Also included: They'll pass on Watt because everything is too perfect. At least one "Who?" moment in the first two nights.

I did that with Brandon's last year and got two right!

I just cannot bring myself to pick JJ Watt since everyone else is and because it makes perfect sense.

Here is my list for for now but I may change it next week; it is what I call the Boy Scout list in no order:

1) Ras-I Dowling CB
2) Pernell McPhee DE
3) Allan Bailey DE
4) Stefen Wisniewski OG
5) Gabe Carimi OT
6) Torrey Smith WR
7) Bruce Carter OLB
8) Doug Hogue LB
9) Stephen Paea DT

EDIT: superceded
