You have me confused. I don't know if you are an idiot or a troll or both. Unlike you and your ilk I can remember before Belichick was the coach and the number of superbowls the team won. FYI it was the same the Jets won after 1969.
the defense with the exception of andre carter , did not come to play, and tom brady is looking confused and frustrated .. we are fortunate to be down by 7.... but not looking like a championship team right now....
I'm not a fanboy, and the Patriots start the half with the ball. As poorly as the team has played, they can tie the game up right at the start of the half.
But the Pats biggest problems on offense isn't that no one is open. It is poor execution (dropped balls, Brady not seeing wide open receivers, poor blocking, stupid penalties).
Plus they haven't been on the field at all. The last drive was looking good until Vollmer effed up. We have a chance now to come out with a good drive in the 3rd and turn the game around, very important drive coming up.
Long term I'm concerned about the depth of the DBs. Safety has been an issue all year, but Molden was just kind of stuck in quicksand on that Antonio Brown TD.
i like kevin faullk as much as the next guy, but why the f is he the focal point of the offense...funny to think no one on this board gave pittsburgh a chance....
2) this is what happens when a team cuts 4 of its top 8 DBs
3) on the first Steelers TD, the closest Patriots to the play were Ihedigbo and Molden. If those are the guys that we're counting on, then I think that pretty well explains the problem.
What I have found interesting is that Molden has been playing on the Outside receivers and Arrington on the SLOT receiver most of the game so far..
What I don't understand was how Belichick didn't have someone on Miller to start the game. The guy has been an excellent TE in his career. That's gotta be on the coach..
As for firing the DBs coach, the guy is in his 1st year. Not really his fault that the players aren't executing. On the Brown TD, Molden was too deep and Arrington showed he didn't know where Sanders was because he bit on Ben's fake to the right..
Thank you for being a rational fan. I understand we all get emotional but Some of these other posts today are really pathetic. Let's not all lose our minds because of a terrible terrible half in which we are only down by seven.
We can't go into halftime being up by multiple scores everyone game, let's all take a deep breath.
Now you get it. Tons of yards Tons of completions, yet only one score down AND the ball. \
That's BECAUSE we chose not to give up the big pass play. Just remember that the defense didn't sh!t the bed the first 2 drives. In fact the offense hasn't really done jack the entire first half.
No, Ken, it's because Roethlisberger vapor locked. Without that, this game would be all but over. Now let's hope the Patriots can take advantage of the gift that's been given them.
