1) we are incredibly lucky to only be down by 7
2) this is what happens when a team cuts 4 of its top 8 DBs
3) on the first Steelers TD, the closest Patriots to the play were Ihedigbo and Molden. If those are the guys that we're counting on, then I think that pretty well explains the problem.
All the confidence I gained in the defense after the Dallas game is now gone. I'm pretty sure that I could run a route and get open on us.
What I have found interesting is that Molden has been playing on the Outside receivers and Arrington on the SLOT receiver most of the game so far..
What I don't understand was how Belichick didn't have someone on Miller to start the game. The guy has been an excellent TE in his career. That's gotta be on the coach..
As for firing the DBs coach, the guy is in his 1st year. Not really his fault that the players aren't executing. On the Brown TD, Molden was too deep and Arrington showed he didn't know where Sanders was because he bit on Ben's fake to the right..
The Ignore list makes putting up with his drivel so much easier.
Plus they haven't been on the field at all. The last drive was looking good until Vollmer effed up. We have a chance now to come out with a good drive in the 3rd and turn the game around, very important drive coming up.
where is that thread about "is big ben an elite qb"...the overall consensus (not surprisingly) was NO! "How dare you mention him with the great TB!".
Well.....
It's embarassing so far. Just wide open receivers all over the place. Luckily they started covering heath miller.
Hopefully they can turn it around....hopefully.
Receivers aren't getting open, not sure what you want the QB to do..throw a pick like Big Ben did?
Do you guys think that the Pats would retire Kevin Faulk's number? He has been a Pat all his career.
