Well the encouraging thing is the Patriots couldn't play any worse and are down by one TD at the half.

Pittsburg is playing 10 at the LOS with a single safety back, allowing no one to run free underneath. They obviously have no concern about the Pats throwing downfield.

On the other hand, the Pats typically have only 5 players within 10 yards of the LOS. Everyone on Pittsburg runs free underneath. The Pats are scared to death that someone will run deep.

But the Pats biggest problems on offense isn't that no one is open. It is poor execution (dropped balls, Brady not seeing wide open receivers, poor blocking, stupid penalties).

Actually feel pretty good right now. Only down by 7 after such a "Meh" half. Make some good adjustments at the half and I think we'll be fine.

Now you get it. Tons of yards Tons of completions, yet only one score down AND the ball. \

That's BECAUSE we chose not to give up the big pass play. Just remember that the defense didn't sh!t the bed the first 2 drives. In fact the offense hasn't really done jack the entire first half.
