Game Day Thread The official Patriots vs Raiders game thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

I'm liking this balanced offensive playcalling. Keep the Raiders D on their toes.

On pace for 600 yds allowed this game. It's embarassing watching players on our D celebrate when they make a play. You should not be allowed to celebrate when you are this bad.

i cant believe it!!!!! a turnover!!!!!

Can someone please speculate on the injured Mayo body part and the severity, thanks!
knee and the way he walked off it didn't look good

Question for the guys who know the rules better-

If while dancing around in the end zone Chung gets hit and fumbles and the Raiders recover…is that a TD for Oakland or a safety?

Yikes - Chung. Go out or go down. Whew.

Mayo looked like a possible ACL. It was the knee, and they held him as he walked off the field so that he put no weight on that leg.

At this point, I would honestly settle for MCL injury and out 6 weeks.

Thanks,Doc

Ugh. Ugh.

No worries... We will be okay as long as the offense scores on every possession.

That pick by Chung will be misconstrued as a great defensive play later on this week on these boards.

We really needed that! Now we'd better turn that into a TD :rocker:

I really really hope it's not too serious with Mayo but my gut tells me it is......it also tells me I'm hungry....

happy for the turnover but all I can think of is Mayo,
