Game Day Thread The Official Patriots vs Raiders Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Watching that fumble and the fact that half the Patriots were around the ball was soooo frustrating

Why? He's 3o years old and has averaged 44 catches a year in his NFL career. About the same and Brandon LaFell over his first four years in the league and who is younger and who is not being asked to be the Pats go-to receiver.

Not counting the year he went on IR in the first game, Amendola has averaged 61 catches a year for his four years in the NFL.

Why do you like James Jones, but not these two Pats receivers?

didn't james jones lead the league in td's one year?

************ this is frustrating

we don't even have a minute of possession...wtf.

Hightower blows it up.

denver's offense is significantly better than ours.

That's about an understatement and a half.

That said, we should be in the top 5-10 at worst.

3rd and 14. Turnover time.

That was a good job by the defense. Hightower did a great job.

Hold them on 3rd and long

denver's offense is significantly better than ours.
They have better players and a coach who knows how to put those players in the right position to make plays. BB should call Weis. Mcdaniels is clueless.

So many doom and gloomers in the gameday threads that you barely, if ever, sees in the rest of the forum. Or when the team does good.

We got new turf this off season, right? looks like players are slipping a bit on the field.

Well, burning 2 timeouts already is certainly Oakland being Oakland.

getting bullied by the 31st ranked offense. funny to watch.

thank god we lord belichick who will make halftime adjustments.

Yeah, two timeouts!! somehow i don't think it was the deafening roar of the crowd

It's early chillax. Did nobody watch last week's game?

fwiw, the d-line is going to get manhandled for the entire season. They're just not good against the run on the inside and help isn't coming. If they are going to do well, look for Hightower and Mayo to stop scraping and simply scream downhill and smash into the gaps. That's signifying they're going away from the 2-gap principles and getting after it a bit in the run game which is what their personnel dictates.
