Pro Football Weekly listed some of the Patriots transactions from yesterday, which included Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker, linebacker Shawn Crable, and defensive tackle Kade Weston as being declared "physically unable to perform".
Welker was expected to be placed on the active PUP list, as it's believed that head coach Bill Belichick will want to take it slow with his recovery. However seeing Crable's name on there is concerning considering that he's now in his third year of not being able to play due to injury. The news of another injury with Crable may also explain why he had limited repetitions during the team's recent OTA's last month, which were open to the media.
Being on the active PUP means that each of those three players could come off the list at anytime - so hopefully it's just precautionary.
Other players who were declared with non-football injuries were wide receiver Darnell Jenkins, and cornerback Terrence Johnson.
