What makes you think Dowling is anywhere near as good as Slater on STs?

I can see him playing that role, but you're right I don't know. It does give us an extra spot and Branch and Welker could be both be gone next year. A young Tate might make sense. That said, I know that I'm in the minority on this one.

I really don't know except that Tate's value as a KR took a hit tonight.Price is still learning this offense obviously...Tate is supposed to know it having played extensively last season...good question, DI...can't wait to see what BB does...Chad Johnson has had a real poor night making catches too...the next ten days should be interesting to say the least
