Mallett has demonstrated little ability to put a soft touch on the football. He's all cannon and no pistol. More concerning is that doesn't look to have improved since he's been a Patriots player.

IMO, we're not watching Brady's replacement/long term back up unless some major changes in Mallett's passing ability occur.
