That drive was killed by Vereen. He chickened out and didn't run through the play. Would have picked up at least another yard if not the first down if he didn't just stop in his tracks.
The Chiefs aren't being fooled by Vereen, and if you're running with him when they expect run, that's a losing proposition. Poor utilization, bad playcalling.
Bad play call there. I would not ask Stork to make that kind of block in his young career on a crucial 3rd and short. Just do a regular run or a short pass.
