It doesn't matter what the style of game is that is being played or how well it is being played. The Broncos are playing better football than the Patriots and have embarrassed them in the first half. That is undeniable.

Not disagreeing there. Hopefully (baring the impossible), this game gets them ready to get some revenge. Luck for us this isn't a playoff game. Even if Patriots won this game they likely weren't getting homefield anyways. Ravens got wrecked by the broncos late in the season last year.

The Pats finally get a break on the fumble and it's basically meaningless. That's how things have gone tonight. When the Pats are on the good end of something it leads to nothing, when the Broncos are on the good end of something it leads to points. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing night.

I agree this loss, or why we're losing, has nothing to do with injuries. If you fumble away the ball so many times then you will lose. And if you wiff on blocks then you will lose.

My wife just asked my why she had to miss Walking Dead for this...

I didn't have an answer...

Alright guys. We've got them right where we want them.

Didn't the Chargers start yelling that that when the Pats were up by the same score at halftime in week 2 of 07? lol

You know what i actually want good weather from now on because at least everything would be normal with our offense. We wouldn't have fumbled 6 times in standard weather although it's no excuse of course.

That Denver D is very beatable.

6 fumbles? Holy Cow is that just bad. Unless Denver just rolls over we gotta look forward to next week.

That 2011 draft is just terrible.......

Even if you could magically take away the fumbles, the broncos are still thoroughly outplaying the pats in every phase of the game.

On the bright side, the jets, dolphins, and colts all lost today, so no real ground will be lost in the playoff picture

I hate to come off like a broken record and Edelman fanboy, but can they please throw some screens and such to Edelman and let him use his elite RAC ability for a change?

Re: Why can't the Pats ever stop third and +20

It's just embarrassing.

2 weeks in a row they can't stop a 3rd & 20 and eventually a TD is scored later in the drive.

Pathetic at it's finest.

Not the least surprising seeing as this team is complacent stock piling itself with average to below-average players.

Injuries hurt, but all teams suffer injuries, so we can't use that as a means of justifying mediocrity in our defence, and apparently, now in our offence.

Is it wrong that I am now hoping for us to lose 60-0? There is not a guy I like on this team. A bunch of "nice", "high character" guys who are lucky they're in the AFC East. It's been that way for awhile. We've been lucky the rest of the division is worse than us, but we have no business competing for a Superbowl. The talent level on the NEP is GARBAGE.

If pats make it far enough to play denver again. They will destroy us just as bad. Especially at home

I've have now seen enough of Danny Amendola this season to conclude that Danny Amendola is no Wes Welker.

Ok 2nd half does Ridley see any light? He obviously single handedly (one that wasn't on ball) turned this game with that fumble.

A clear positive to me is that I feel the defense has played very well all things considered. They have been put in some bad spots and they've held up reasonably well. I hope they can continue. The O needs to bring it in the second half.

I'd like to see a 45-3 blowout, this team needs a friggin wakeup call.

My wife just asked my why she had to miss Walking Dead for this...

I didn't have an answer...

She didn't.....This is the Walking Dead

It's not Amendola's fault, but he just can't get open as quickly as Welker does. How much of that is because of injury is irrelevant, because the what is what matters, not the why.

I agree with everything you just said. It's funny though how people are acting like Amendola is the reason they've come out looking horrific.

It's not Amendola's fault that Ridley fumbled and the Broncos ran it back for a TD.
It's not Amendola's fault Solder let Von Miller strip sack Brady and then let them go in for another TD.
It's not Amendola's fault Blount fumbled and then Denver kicked a FG.

All of these mistakes by us would have happened even if we had Welker instead Amendola on our team right now.
