So you run it again, take another 40 seconds off the clock, don't turn the damn ball over, and then punt it if you can't get 6 yards (which they were likely to get in the first place). I shouldn't have to explain Football 101 to you, Deus.

Apparently, you need to explain football 101 to yourself. With 5 minutes left, you go for the first down. If you get it, you can kill a lot more than 40 seconds. On 3rd and 6, they ran a safe pass call. Vereen dropped an easy pass.
