If Pat's are to pick up a WR I would guess a trade rather than waiver because no decent player will make it to us.

Been hoping we can swing a trade or take a look at him for 2 years now. Would love a look and keep him around for next offseason. We need to inject more youth into the WR group anyway.

That being said I guess if we really wanted him we would have offered minor trade compensation. It is not like his contract is big.
Here is what I like about miller, and it’s not that he is a good NFL WR.
1) he was a tremendous leader at OSU
2) he can run with the ball and catch the ball meaning he can fill multiple small roles
3) he can return kicks.
4) I’ve never cared about a wild cat type guy but with Brady at 41 if he gets injured and has to miss some games, the wildcat/pistol can be used as a change up.

I'm tracking them in my roster movement thread.

im sure you do but since its a sticker updates are not so visible so not many people will check there or debate. I think for the weekend we need a thread down here

I think you should start one.

Anyone else thinks a separate NE cutdowns/trades thread would make sense?

IDK. Folks are going to post about players they like who have been cut by other teams there, too.

How about a NE transactions summary post in this thread every so often?

Janis is the type of move I was expecting the Pats to make. Of course, this guarantees that he will not be a Pat but...

Agree. I don't really care about Janis in particular, one way or the other. But I know that some folks around here are really high.

EDIT: Sorry. I meant to type, "high on him." My apologies for the error.

Michael Floyd got his walking papers. On the street again.
