The Mahomes/Chiefs Discussion Thread

Not sure your Broncos forum buddies would appreciate your new Mahomes fandom. Just sayin. Division rival and all. Did one of your 6000 posts over there explain yourself?
6000 posts? Lol that’s not a drive by visit to another teams board, that’s becoming a full fledged member.

I've been a member here since '08 and I have 5500+ posts. You aren't kidding.

One of your weaker attempts at trolling. You can do much better.
At this point I'm not even sure he's a Pats fan anymore. Pats fan don't say that

Just my opinion but I think he’s never forgiven Brady for leaving. Wouldn’t shock me if one of his rooms was similar to this.
.

see Buffalo Bills circa 1990-1993, Dallas Cowboys 1992-1994
I considered those. They are close but didn't match. Keep in mind, I'm talking about an uninterrupted run with making it at least to the final 4. The Bills did it 4 times with 4 SB loses (they missed the next year and lost in the Divisional round before that run). The Cowboys had a 4 year final 4 run with a conference loss between their super bowl wins but a year before and after they lost in the division both times. In the 80s and 70s they failed to have 5 straight final 4 appearances as well. Only KC and the Pats have 5 or more final 4 appearances IN A ROW. I should have been more clear that is what i meant. Of course the Patriots have 8, which by comparison to history is absolutely insane. This is also why I see KC having a hiccup next year and losing before the final 4. I thought they would this year but they managed to stay healthy yet again.

I can't see that good fortune continuing for them. I will again predict this is the year they fail to make the final four, cause the Patriots are a complete aberration I believe. They have been fortunate to not lose major stars to injury long term in this run. I don't see how that can keep continuing. The injury bug will bit them hard this year I think. I don't wish injuries on them, but it is a matter of being due and probability.

Checked again... yup Brady still completely owns Mahomes.

Mahomes is 0-2 against Brady when it matters most. That's bad right?

Just checked again today...head to head Mahomes has outplayed Brady statistically

in 6 games against each other:

Brady - 1778 yards, 12 TDs, 5 INTs, 3 wins

Mahomes - 1911 yards, 14 TDs, 6 INTs, 3 wins

and mind you, Mahomes had to play against Bill's defense and the Bucs defense, while Brady had to play against an average chiefs defense. Also, Mahomes was just a young player not even in his prime in those losses.

It's been said a million times... Brady had the team ahead late in both games. BB's defense blew it both times. BB (and Patricia) also are entirely responsible for the SB 52 loss.

Ok, so you have no evidence or proof, I got it.
So @MAC10 is making the argument that Tom played like dogshit in SB 46? When he set a record for consecutive completions. Look at the two touchdown drives below. If Welker catches the ball on that 2nd and 11 the Pats win the game.

*Brady beats Mahomes at being drunk. Chalk up another W for the greatest QB who ever lived.

sure

Did you forget to highlight the part of Brady's intentional grounding penalty in the end zone, when the nearest receiver was like 20 yards away? That nullifies just about everything else he did. It resulted in 2 points for the Giants, who also scored on the ensuing drive, so Brady basically gave away 9 points to the Giants.

Brady played well when it mattered most in that game. Like he usually does. Expected nothing different. Too bad BB’s defense gave it away again.

Except against the QBs listed in my signature. Thanks for playing though. Michael Jordan he is not.

We should stay on topic here so if you’d like to discuss that then open a topic in the Brady forum. What’s relevant to this thread is Brady completely owns Mahomes in games that matter. 2 wins and zero losses and Brady was a big reason for both wins.

As I would expect. He is the greatest QB that ever played this game. Getting completely owned by the GOAT is nothing for Kermit to be ashamed about.

sure

The throw was down the middle of the field, FFS. Not Tom's fault that Tuck came in unblocked on the first offensive play of the game. Neither the refs, the announcers nor you know if Tom expected someone to cross the field with the coverage that he saw. Not sure how Tom owns the inability of the defense to then get a stop after the punt like they did on the first drive.
