Mark Sanchez Attends Justin Bieber Concert

I posted this at JetsInsider.com and they've already retaliated with photos of Brady's new hairstyle next to Justin. I suppose it would be too much to wish that "Hard Knocks" cameras followed Sanchez to the show. I wonder if he had a backstage pass for a meet-and-greet afterward. :singing:

The Jets may soon have to cave to Mr. Revis......

During the offseason, Cromartie missed some reps during minicamp practices due to a "fatigued" hip. But it was the left hip, not the right hip.

This time, it's the right hip. And it's the right hip that was fractured in 2008.

There's already speculation and conjecture that the condition from two years ago has returned.

thanx, Deus...that link is tremendous, especially the last part concerning Revis

Based on the number of kids he has, too many pelvic thrusts perhaps?

Egh, this sucks, and is exactly why I was adamantly against the Pats going for Cromartie, and why I didn't like the trade for the Jets when they made it. Mental exercise: think off the top of your head of all of the guys who have successfully recovered from significant hip injuries. Now think of the guys whose careers were either ended or cut extremely short. The former list is a very, very small one; for the recent past, Priest Holmes jumps prominently to mind, but even that may have been because his neck forced him to retire first.

Hip injuries are a scary thing, and shouldn't be trivialized. They seem to be the sort of thing that just never really goes away. On a side note, this is also why I'm already assuming that Ty Warren will never return to prime form, and just hoping that I'm wrong. As soon as I hear hip and surgery in the same sentence, it's all about managing expectations.

Never moreso than with corners where hip flexibility is actually a prerequisite to success...

They got some issues on D that could screw the pooch. They got some issues on O that could screw a lot more...

NFL.com news: Faced with huge expectations, Sanchez at critical point in career

Love the comparison to Mirer...

No reason to be all that concerned about the One Man Population Explosion's injured hip. Just as with Calvin Pace, the jets can do a quickie surgery and run the Father of Our Country back out on the field in no time.

After seeing Sanchez pout through that Hard Knocks episode, I am confident he will be thouroughly awful this year. The way he clammed up while recieving what seemed to be kiddy-glove constructive feedback screams immature child thrust into the primetime far too early. As much as I hate Pete Carrol for what he did here, it seems he might have been right in telling The Sanchise that he wasn't ready (too bad he couldn't project talent that well for us). It will be a good time watching this team implode. I see Bart Scott throwing the offense under the bus around week 6, with ego's clashing as has never been seen on an NFL "team" at this point in time. Even if the injuries keep piling up for our beloved Pats, there will be some escape in watching the circus in NY unfold. LT whining about touches, McKnight puking after every jog to the huddle, Holmes whining about Sanchez being color blind, and another Cromartie Spawn for good measure. Yep, thats the best team in the league right there!

The predict the record thread is off and running over on Gangreen and it's a hoot. Most of the regulars have them at 11-5 or 12-4 with the exception of the few rational members who think 9-7 or 10-6 are about the best you can expect given as one astute poster remarked the JETS have only won 12 games once in their entire illustrious history...and it turns out that was with Tuna and his wonder boy assistant HC/DC Belichick at the helm. One dreamer has them undefeated on the road...Many have them losing to or splitting with us and the dolphins but moping up the floor with the Packers, Vikings, Texans and Steelers.

If the Jet's worked out a trade with us for Mankins + draft pick
and we get Revis would we still think they sucked?

Yup ... they would still suck and they would also be:

A sucky team that got suckered into being suckers because they suck across the board.

That's a great read, and not just because it's about as low on Sanchez as any article that I've read. It's just well-reasoned all the way through- stuff like that is exactly why Lombardi has always been one of my favorite football writers. If you haven't listened to him on the B.S. Report (the NFL preview just came out yesterday), that's worth a shot too. If you can get past some of Simmons' more inane points, Lombardi packs some real insight in there.

We like most fan bases have a lot of jaded fans. A lot of people want to look past that fact that Sanchez is an unknown quantity going into year 2. How he does this year will determine if they are 7-9 or 12-4. He had 5 horrible games last year (3 td/17 int) and 13 games that were decent for a rookie. The numbers look horrible because of those 5 games. I don't think anyone can honestly figure out what he will do in year two so it's impossible to predict the Jets record.

Sounds a lot like how it is around here. The difference, of course, being that we have Brady. Personally, I had us at 11-12 wins a couple weeks ago, now I'm guessing more in the 10-11 range. Losing Warren sucks, losing Bodden is worse.

All I have to say is Fat Bastard....

which one are you?
