The Jets suck (merged)

They do when the Omissioner is a former Green Rat employee who owes his entire career to the Johnsons...but beyond that, even IF any of this nonsense had any validity, what does THAT have to do with the WORST FOOTBALL TEAM in the NFL over the past 41 years? It's not like the Rats were ever going to win anything of importance if NE was out of the picture...that is why YOU will forever be a rat lover and a perrenial loser..the two are married to each other..like swamp and stink

How did you come to name the Jets "the rats"

Did you just decide that any 3 letter word that's plural works?

Very true. They get forfeited at the order of rookie commissioners in over their heads who cave in to the selfish demands of rival teams.

But no need to go OT. Your team sucks quite thoroughly.

sucked so bad they beat two division champs on the road to get to the champ game...

One would think Pats fans would be tired of winning the divsion already and welcome a bit of a fight.

If new England faced 13 winless teams each regular season, and nothing but 4th, 5th and 6th seeds in the playoffs, I'd be thrilled with the Super Bowl championships nonetheless. When it comes to the highest professional levels, it's about winning.

Your head coach, Eric RATgini, testified in open commissioner's office that the Patriots used a camera on the sideline. He was caught using TWO, but as any RAT knows, if you rat you get away with whatever you want. Go ahead and deny this...it's in print ,archived and has dedicated threads with hard copy proof right here.

Yup, after teams laid down for them to get to 9-7. But I readily acknowledge the Green Beans have improved on the field. Their suckology goes way beyond that, to the very heart of the organization and the creeps populating its front office, coaching ranks and locker room. It extends to the fans as well, GENERALLY speaking.

Why? Winning never gets old, but I'm sure that's a foreign concept to you. I'd be thrilled to see the Patriots pummel the Beans twice a year; losing to them is a crime against nature.

.

Well I would rather back into the playoffs and have quality wins on the road instead of winning a division and getting pummeled at home but thats just me.

Last I checked our head coach was Rex Ryan.

You can start calling them the Rex's though, that seems to fit your pattern.

Weird. You'd think other Green Beans fans would feel the same way. Never ceases to amaze ...

Check again, his real name is Jabba Wrecks.

What difference does it make?
I can tell you I would feel absolutely no better about our season if we lost in the AFCC than if we lost in the first round. I imagine not even making the playoffs would make a difference but as a Jet fan you would be an expert at discussing how that feels.
Winning a playoff game or 2 is a lame consolation prize, the playoffs have only 1 winner.

JaMarcus Russell (65.2) has a higher career QB rating than Mark Sanchez (63.0)

Despite giving absolutely no effort and playing for the Oakland Raiders while the other played behind one of the best offensive-lines in the league with a Pro-Bowl WR and RB.

Ouch.

And as if anyone needed proof that JEST fans are in the running for worst fans in professional sports, I have one thing to say: Gate D, anyone?

And yet Sanchez had more wins in his first year than Russell had in his 3.

Sanchez had the reigns put on him for almost the entire year and even then the game plan was very conservative.

Sanchez is still green and had his best games in the playoffs. Hopefully he puts up a good year next year. Could be dangerous with the Jets D.

Really, Sanchez was the reason they won 8 legitimately contested regular season games last season?

Would you guys please end this notion that Goodell is partial to the Jets because he worked for them for free when he was fresh out of college? Goodell worked for the Jets when he was 24, for less than a year, as an intern, this was in 1983. That's NINETEEN EIGHTY THREE! He owes nothing to the Jets or Woody Johnson since Woody has only owned the Jets since 2000. Nice try though.

At the risk of getting off topic and disrupting this bond you guys are having on this thread in hating all things Jets, I just want to express that I enjoy the game of football and I enjoy the rivalry between certain teams and their fans. It's good for the game. Unfortunately some people take it way too personal and that's just something I can't understand, this goes for all of sports and every passionate fan. If you meet a fan of a rival team in the real world in a time and place unrelated to football, do you automatically hate them and want nothing to do with them? I enjoy coming here to catch up on the Patriots news and updates, and most of the posters are intelligent fans. That is all.

Sorry for getting off topic, and this post is not directed towards Joker specifically.

I'm sorry, I forgot that wins isn't a flashy enough QB stat.

Not to mention it puts a damper on the Sanchez hate fest.

Mark Sanchez did not win any games last season.

He happened to be playing on a team that won games.

well...I got some more news you're going to hate reading, David. Roger Goodell's father is Charles Goodell, multi- term Senator from the state of....here it comes...NEW YORK. His son Roger was a three sport star in high school on...here it comes....Long Island. Charles Goodell has held a box at the Meadowlands since 1977 for ALL JET HOME GAMES.At that time, in 1977,there are documented reports of abusive rowdyism displayed by the Senator's son and his friends directed at fans of other teams there to see their team play. These occurred while Roger Goodell was a senior in high school and a freshman in college. Questions were asked about Charles Goodell squashing assault charges stemming from his son's and friends behaviour at Jet games but only eye witness testimony remains today, the records disappeared.

Leon Hess was a close personal friend of Senator Goodell and a generous campaign contributor. Hess gave Roger his big break as an intern and personally vouched for him when he was hired by the NFL.Woody Johnson bought the complete Hess team holdings in 2000, a transaction that involved hefty input by Roger Goodell.Johnson is a life long Republican as is Senator Goodell and the two had numerous business dealing over the decades of Goodell's political sway in the NY metro area.

THIS is just a SMALL part of a MOUNTAIN of circumstantial evidence that points to collusion between Roger Goodell and the NY Jets Football Club. He's dirty.AND he's arrogant. In this country this combination always has a fall. In Goodell's case I sincerely hope it leads to a federal indictment for racketeering and a long incarceration in the federal penal system.

Wow, just wow. It would all seem incontrovertible. You know, could Goodell be this 'lord maitreya' character I have been hearing about? It might explain a few things.
