You have an infinitely better chance that neither Garoppolo or Brissett never play a meaningful down in 2017 than you have of either of them winning a Super Bowl and that is a fact. I'll bet you a thousand dollars that Brady doesn't get injured this year vs. Garoppolo winning a Super Bowl.

People are going insane about the back up QB position. Trade Garoppolo and get Ryan Fitzpatrick. He can be a solid starter for a handful of games. If Brady goes down longer than that, odds are the Pats aren't going to win the Super Bowl anyway.

Jimmy G will be our starting quarterback in 2018-2019. Brady will be playing his last season. That's the only explanation

Now that is the only way it make sense not to trade Garoppolo if other teams are offering multiple first rounders. There is no way that both Jimmy G and Brady will be on this roster in 2018.

The Browns trade has me thinking they're going to get Jimmy G. You'd expect Bill B to be more interested in more picks in the later 1st and 2nd than in #12 and fewer other picks.

We'll see what shakes out, but hard to not see the Browns avoiding a QB and trading down for more picks as a move for Jimmy G.

Fitzpatrick? Cmon now...

Fitzpatrick is an excellent back up QB. He is an awful starting QB. Look at his history. He almost always looks great when he steps in for another QB who gets injured. It is when he plays more than half a season when he is exposed as horrible QB.
