Chris Johnson may have just given the the incoming Jets GM an excuse to cut him:

PFT has confirmed a report that Johnson was arrested on Friday for open carrying of a firearm, a second degree misdemeanor.

A league source tells PFT that Johnson does have a license to carry in Florida. But this arrest wasn’t just for carrying, it was for open carrying.

This is why I think there's something wrong with Woody Johnson (okay, more wrong than before.) This is the exact same mistake that got him John Idzik as GM. . . .

I'm pretty sure McCagnan was brought up when Woody, Ron Wolf, and Casserly interviewed Dan Quinn. From what I've read he's a well respected scout and it looks like we'll be bringing a cap guy along with him. The key is to get a GM and coach who can work together.
