Maybe they have a friend who once had a beer with Gisele's garderner and they have inside information.

I think it is the NFL rulebook that if the business side of football drives any legendary HOF 1st ballot quarterback play for other than their original team, he may, if no longer embraced by his original team or its fans, go to NY and not win anything, for a period of time deemed sufficient to purge him of his sins, and then on to a rival team; or, if said QB has not disowned his original fans, nor he them, he may play in the AFC West.

I was think of this. Sexy Rexy could be coaching his last game on Thursday vs. the Pats. If the Jets get blown out today and Thursday, it may be enough to get him fired after six straight losses and the last three being blow outs. With stories of their QB missing meetings because of inability to read time zones, back up QBs admitting that he wasn't prepared for the game (a thing Ryan went on record that he admired), and people saying they are not doing enough film study; a six game losing streak going into a 10 day break is the perfect time for a team to make a change.

Well, as we saw with the Jets and Mark Sanchez, nothing proves a QB is a franchise QB than giving him a contract extension that makes him paid like a franchise QB.

I'm going to the game thursday and would love to see the Jets get blown out. 3 out of 4 times I have gone to Gillette have been losses and 2 of the 3 losses were against the Jets (other loss the dropkick game, only win was the Saints game last year). I wanna see a bunch of sad fans in green...

LOL! Rex is going to be the head coach until Woody dies. Rex is the cool kid who makes the nerd in Woody Johnson feel like he is cool too.

What GM is going to want to come to NY where they know that they cannot pick their head coach and if the team fails the owner is going to blame the GM and not the head coach? The Jets will be mediocre forever.

If Woody was smart (yeah, I know my premise is blown out of the water right there), I would clean house and hire a GM and let him hire a head coach. It has been three seasons and counting since the the last time the Jets made the playoffs.
